From New York Times best-selling author Meghan March comes a story of untold truths and one man’s redemption in the Dirty Mafia Duet – available in audio first!

Every family has a black sheep. In the infamous Casso crime family, that black sheep is me – Cannon Freeman.

Except I’m not a free man. I’ve never been free. Not since the day I was born. I owe my loyalty to my father, Dominic Casso, even if he won’t publicly acknowledge me as his blood.

I’ve never had a reason to go against his wishes…until I met her.

Drew Carson turned my world upside when she walked into my club looking for a job.

Now, my honor and my life are on the line.

Going against my father’s wishes might buy me a bullet straight from his gun, but black sheep or not, it’s time to make my stand.

She’s worth the fallout.

ADDICTING. CONSUMING. DEADLY. SUSPENSEFUL. SEXY AS SIN. PAGE TURNER. SCORCHING. These are just a few words that pretty much sum up the beginning of Cannon and Drew’s lust filled romance.

The suspense nearly killed me! Drew is CRAZY AF for entering the lion’s den in search of retribution for her father’s murder. I loved the premise of this novel, but what I loved most was the fact that this woman didn’t need a man to do the heavy lifting. As a woman who’s used to going undercover, and after her father’s case was dismissed, she decided to take matters into her own hands, screw the fact that this family is high up on the mafia totem pole. She’s willing to do whatever it takes to see that justice is found for her father. See what I say, CRAZY AF. Her strength is uncanny. The only way into a mafia lion’s den for a woman, is to be hired in or to be a mistress, that’s what brings Drew to the Upper Ten, looking for a bartending gig.

I loved Cannon! Seriously, I have so much love for this man! At first sight Cannon knew there was something Drew, his new bartender and server, was hiding. YOu know what they say, keep your friends close and your enemies closer. But there’s something more to this woman than what he sees. Something about her calls to every urge and sense he has. But he’s not the only one to notice the fact that there’s something special about Drew. His father has also noticed and is wanting her for himself. Ah, I loved the intensity in these moments between father and son. They both want the same girl and are both willing to make her theirs at any cost. But one’s willing to go a little bit further than the other…. SO much suspense!

As always with the first book in a duet by Meghan March, we are left with a cliffhanger that legit makes me want to tear the hair from my head…. But I rather like my hair, so I’ll refrain from doing so. There are so many thoughts going through my head right now! I need answers. I need to know where this goes. Seriously, I’m hanging onto my sanity by a thread! I cannot wait for White Knight! I need this book in my hands right now!

Overall, Black Sheep by Meghan March was a great way to start this duet. I loved the emotion, the heat, and the suspense. Cannon’s story isn’t one you’re going to want to miss!
