Three Romance Authors I Wish Were Still Writing Today.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

Today’s category: Authors You Wish Were Still Writing Today

Today’s topic features authors I wish were still writing today. I had three authors come to mind when I first saw the topic. These authors helped me find the joy in reading a long time ago, and every time I fall into a book hangover I read a few of their books to get me out of that mind frame.

1. Katy Evans

Katy Evan’s last published book, Best Man, was published in December 2019

Katy Evans was the first author that came to mind when I saw today’s topic. Katy Evans was actually one of the first three authors that come to mind when I recall when I started reading again. I found a series called the Real Series and that’s what started my obsession with heroes involved in MMA, Boxing and Underground Fighting Rings. Any book that had to do with fighters, I was all in after reading Katy Evan’s Real Series. There was something about Remy and Brooke’s story that had me enamored with this world!

2. Gail McHugh

Gail McHugh’s last published book, Amber To Ashes, was published June 2015

Gail McHugh left me with the greatest book hangover in history of book hangovers after reading Amber To Ashes. That cliffhanger was brutal and sadly, we are left with a forever cliff hanger. I loved the emotion she brought to the table with all three books she published. My heart will forever look at these books as treasures. Maybe one day I’ll reread them and see if the hype I once remembered still remains.

3. Olivia Cunning

Olivia Cunning’s last published book, Love Me, was published April 2019

Olivia Cunning is the queen of rockstar heroes and spicy sexy time scenes! She’s the author that hooked me to the wonderful sub-genre/trope that is rockstar romance. I went through a time where rockstars are all I wanted to read about! I’m thankful I still have a few books to read from this author before I start to truly miss her books.

Whose an author that you really miss?

  1. It makes me wonder why some authors go silent! I don’t want to pry into their personal business, though.
