TTT (1).png

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted byย That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week is a new bookish category in which we get to brag about our favorite books that fit with the weekโ€™s category. You can pick your top 5, 10, 15โ€ฆor so on. I tend to keep my list to ten!

Todayโ€™s category: Bookish Goals for 2024

If you want a more indepth view of my challenges and goals check out the post I made earlier this month. I set 6 challenges for myself and a list of reading goals and blogging goals! I feel like I’m off to a great start!

2024 Goals and Challenges Post -> https://wp.me/p7rFfT-gNW

Reading Challenges:

I have set in place four challenges for myself in 2024! Some of these challenges go hand in hand with the others, so I’m hoping I can get through these ones without too much stress… easy peasy…. Hopefully!

1. Serious About Series Challenge
2. Goodreads Reading Challenge
3. My Bookshelf Challenge
4. New To Me Author Challenge
5. Beat The Backlist Challenge
6. Is kindleunlimited Worth It? Challenge

Reading Goals:

There are three basic reading goals I set for myself this year.

1. DNF Books I’m not feeling
2. Follow through on my Reading Lists
3. Do better at planning my reading lists.

Blogging Goals:

Last year I found myself getting easily burnt out when it came to my blog. I honestly thought about throwing in the towel and if it weren’t for Mr. Man guiding me and being the positive light in all my negative thoughts, I would have given up. There was a stretch of time where I was dealing with a serious case of depression and I honestly wanted to give up on everything I love in life. But thanks to Mr. Man and my mama, I kept pushing forward through the fog. Life is difficult, and I’ve come to find it’s okay to ask for help. So this year is all about setting limits and boundaries for myself, that way I don’t end up in the same burnt out situation I found myself in last year.ย  Here are my Blogging Goals I set for myself this year!

1. Try to schedule a post for each and every day of 2024.
2. Be more interactive with the book blogs I follow and the comments I receive!
3. Enjoy the life I’m given. I chose to blog about books because I love to read. It’s time to find the happiness in my blog. It’s time to think of this as a fun hobby and less as work.
4. Plan out my arcs and reviews better than last year.
5. One of my goals, I’ll only accept/request five advanced copies a month. In order to free up more free reading time.

What Reading Challenges or Goals have you set for yourself this year?

Peace Love and Happy Reading,

  1. It’s great to have cheerleaders! My husband is a huge support for me. There are days I say I need to do something around the blog, but I want to spend the time with him. He reminds me that sitting at the table together doing what we enjoy is still being together. I wonder if he says that so he can draw and paint and not feel guilty! LOL! I hope you have a wonderful 2024!

    1. Awe!! I love this! It sounds like you definitely have a keeper.

Mr. Man is the same way with me. I’ll be reading on the couch and he’ll come in and either get on his computer, turn on a sitcom we’ve watched a million times, or play a video game he never really plays anymore. It’s the calm and steady moments like this that helps to keep my mind at ease.
