I’m currently reading, and loving, How To Score Off Field by Sara Ney. I can no longer say I’m new to Sara Ney’s writing style due to this being the seventh book I’ve read by her. What I can say, though, I’m learning there is a never dull moment when it comes to this author and her storytelling skills. I’m absolutely loving Drew and Tessa’s story!!!

This past week I read and finished two books, which are both available with kindle unlimited. The first book I finished was The Story of Me by Lesley Jones, and this book happens to be the conclusion to Georgia Rae Layton-McCarthy’s story. I’m not going to lie, the ending of the first book had me reconsidering diving into this one… but given the fact that I couldn’t not see where Georgia’s story leads, I picked this one up. Holy Crow, I have to say, I may have loved this book a tiny bit more than the first! The emotion in this one was raw and real. I also loved the learning to live again after loss concept. What more can I say aside from the fact that my heart was invested! I also read a book I saw an ad for on TikTok, Hardcore by Jenika Snow. Let me warn you, if you aren’t a fan of spicy reads, this may not be the book for you. I loved the spice. However, I wasn’t a fan of the suspense… I also found this novel to be a tad bit predictable and that’s why I gave it a 3 star rating…

I’ll be reading an advanced copy of Spill The Sweet Tea by Lyra Parish next! I can’t wait to jump back into the Valentine Texas Series!! I’m also going to read two books that have been sitting on my tbr for far too long. The first is Love Me Today by A.L. Jackson and the second is Rewrite Our Story by Kat Singleton. I can’t wait to dive into both of these romances!
