Synopsis:
When two worlds crossover. From the This Is Series and The Southern Series.
Addison
I never thought I would see him again.
Especially while I was planning someone else’s wedding—yet there he was holding hands with his girlfriend.
Our one night was wild and passionate; I could never forget him because it changed my life.
Now he’s here—and the result of our one night is twirling in a princess dress at our feet.
Stefano
I didn’t make mistakes.
I was the one you called in when you needed answers.
I was cutthroat but they didn’t pay me to be nice.
I was in control every single second.
The only time I let my guard down was five years ago.
If I thought seeing the woman I could never forget again would throw me off—it’s nothing like seeing our daughter for the first time.

Mine To Promise is the sixth standalone romance novel in Natasha Madison’s Southern Wedding Series. This book also happens to be a *When two worlds crossover* novel from the This Is series and the Southern series! I am fairly new to Natasha Madison’s Southern Wedding series, so take it from me, this book can be read as a standalone. What can I say aside from I loved Addison and Stefano’s story!!! So let’s get started on this review!
Addison never thought she would see her one night stand again, but damn near five years later, he’s standing in her presence with another woman on his arm, looking into the eyes of their creation all those nights ago.
Stefano lives by a strict code. No one night stands. But one night, he couldn’t resist but to let his guard down. And it took a long time for him to erase his one night stand from his mind. Now, five years later, he’s standing in front of the woman he could never forget and looking down into eyes that are exactly like his own…
And that’s where I’ll leave you all on that!
My Thoughts:
If you follow my reviews, you know I’m obsessed with the secret baby and Surprise! You’re a Daddy! Tropes! It’s the vulnerability that both hero and heroine show in these fragile moments of discovery that has the ability to bring me to my knees. Usually, there is a load of drama revolving around the discovery of fatherhood that has me grasping my kindle and wanting more and more and more! However, I have to say, the way Natasha Madison maneuvered her own way around this trope had me even more invested! I was here for it and I wasn’t stopping until I reached the final page!
But before we get into all of that, let’s dive into the characters and my love for their different aspects and personality traits. Let’s start with Addison. Addison is ambitious, fiercely protective, and independent. But she was forced to find her independence the moment she found out she was pregnant from a one night stand and decided to keep her baby. I have to say, this woman is a warrior in all forms! I loved the strength she showed throughout this novel. The world threw her a curveball, and she made the best of a really tough situation. I loved everything about her character, from her personality to the chemistry between her and the other characters in this novel. I especially loved how great of a mother she is!
And then we have Stefano. When Stefano discovered he had fathered a child he didn’t know about, I expected him to blow a gasket or cause a scene because that’s what I’m used to when it comes to this trope. Imagine my surprise when this man took the high road, understood his own faults, and praised Addison for all the work she put into raising a beautiful little girl on her own. My heart fell for this man instantly! I can’t even begin to describe how much this moment impacted me and my feelings! I loved the fact that Stefano stepped up to the plate and became an all hands on deck father.
The chemistry between Addison and Stefano was off the charts. I loved his alpha tendencies, especially regarding their daughter. I loved how he was so adamant and basically in take charge mode from the moment he found out he had a daughter. Usually, slow burn romances aren’t my thing… but the fact that this novel was more about Addison and Stefano finding a balance and their new normal in life really worked. I loved the fact that this story wasn’t filled to the max with sexy time scenes. For me, it made the chemistry that much more fluent.
I can’t forget about the most important character… Little Avery! This feisty princess has the ability to make the hardest of hearts crumble. I loved seeing the relationship between Stefano and his daughter grow with every page I turned. I loved the introduction between Avery and Stefano’s parents (Vivienne Paradis & Mark Dimitris). If you’ve read This Is Love, you probably understand well enough all of the crazy vibes Vivienne brings to this novel! And seeing her as a grandmother and forming a bond with Avery was by far the most precious moment! Talk about spoiling grandchildren….. It was all precious! I couldn’t contain the smile on my face everytime Avery was mentioned!!
Overall, I loved the hell out of this novel. You may notice I rated it a 4 ½ star instead of a full five read. That is due to the last bit of the novel. I felt some moments were rushed towards the end, but I’ve determined that is just me being a picky reader… I can’t wait to read more from this series sometime soon!

Peace Love and Happy Reading,

I loved this too! I adored it was low on drama for a secret baby romance! Fantastic review!
Thank you! I’m thrilled you loved it too! It’s rare to read a secret baby romance without loads of drama. I think that’s the main reasoning behind my love for this one. Natasha Madison took this trope and put her own spin on it.
