Do you prefer to read classics or modern books?
My Answer:
Definitely modern romance novels. I read a few classic romances in high school, but sadly they didn’t spark my interest. Maybe, now that I’m older, I’ll go back and try to read a classic in a setting where I’m not assigned to read it. Maybe I’ll enjoy it more knowing I don’t have to read it, I choose to read it.

Classics just don’t work for me. I tried some when I was younger and now I can’t bring myself to pick them up.
I think being forced to read certain books in high school caused me to really dislike classics. I had an English teacher who was all about the classics and he would pick the hardest and most boring books to read in my reading explorations class…
