Question of the Day? | Who are your top three authors?

qotd

Today is day three of the question of the day blogging journey!
I don’t know about you, but I’m always in search of new-to-me authors and romance recommendations.
Which is what led to today’s question of the day!
So let’s get started!

Question Of The Day:
Who are your top three authors?

My Answer:

Picking only three authors for my top three is a quest I never imagined would be this difficult. There are so many great romance authors, and my top three authors seem to change every single day! Today, after looking back at what I recently read compared to what I’ve read in the past, I managed to choose my top three authors based on not only the writing aspect, but my emotions while reading!

Jamie Begley: I’m a huge fan of motorcycle club romances. There’s something about the danger and sensuality that lurks between each page that catches my attention and has me immediately coming back for more. I was first introduced to Jamie Begley through a goodreads recommendation… You know the, if you loved that try reading this, scenario. Knowing I can’t read books out of order, I decided to go all in and grab the first book in the Last Riders MC series, Razor. I was captivated. One book turned into the next, and before I knew it I had finished the series! And then, I found out that Jamie Begley had written an interconnected series and she had a suggested reading order. You can safely assume where I’m going with this. I read 25 books soon after and made it my mission to complete her reading order. Now the reading order currently sits at 32 books. Let it be known, if you are going to read Jamie Begley, after reading this post, I highly recommend you read her books in her recommended reading order. If you love MC romances you should check out Jamie Begley.

Kaylee Ryan: I discovered Kaylee Ryan a few years ago, and I’ve been a die-hard fan ever since. Kaylee Ryan is a visual master when it comes to creating swoony heroes and small town scenarios. One of the main reasons behind why she made my top three list is because I never finish her novels with a frown. There’s always a smile or a goofy grin on my face when I finish that last page. From sexy rockstars to swoony brothers, there’s something for everyone in her publication list. Definitely look this author up and give her a chance!

Colleen Hoover: The almighty queen of tears! Looking back, I read seven or eight books by Colleen Hoover, and each story brought me to the brink of tears! From her Slammed Series to It Ends With Us, she definitely knows how to bring the emotions out of her readers. My reading life was never the same after I finished It Ends With Us. That book took Ugly Crying to a whole new level for me. So if you’re in the mood to shed all of the tears and feel all of the emotions, look up Colleen Hoover. Last month, I finished Ugly Love and, this too, was another novel that had me crying. So if you’re in the mood to cry, grab a book by this author and don’t forget the box of tissues and glass of wine/whiskey/beer, because you’re going to need it when all is said and done!

Choosing only, three authors was harder than I initially thought it would be. As I said above, my top author list constantly changes from day to day. My mind was at war between ten authors so I have an  honorary mentions list: Kennedy Fox, A.L. Jackson, M. Robinson, Meghan March, Katy Evans, Chantal Fernando, and Victoria Ashley! All are authors I highly recommend to those who love reading romance!

This post should fill up your kindles for now.
If you’d like book recommendations from a particular author I mentioned above, let me know in the comments!
