With winter approaching, what a better time than now to share Cozy read recommendations. What makes a book a cozy read? In my mind, a cozy read in romance is a book that makes you feel good throughout the whole story line process. A story that makes you laugh out loud one minute and clutching your heartย the very next. I especially love novels, around this time of the year, that may have a forced proximity approach due to being snowed in. And in those strong snow/cold winter months, I love to set my sights on a location a tad bit warmer. There are so many factors that can make a book cozy, so let’s just dive into the ten books I recommend if you’re looking for a comfy cozy, curl up by the fireplace read. And to make this a bit more interesting, I’m going to list the ten series I recommend for those looking to marathon novels in those cold months.
Adventures In Love Series – Aurora Rose Reynolds
If you’re looking for a cozy read with swoony heroes, you can’t go wrong with Aurora Rose Reynolds! The one series I recommend by her, if you’re looking for a short read and newer release, is the Adventures In Love series. Each book is focused on a different couple and a different adventure. ARR put her heart into this series and these characters. So if you feel up to getting swept away on an outdoor adventure, don’t hesitate to pick up this series!

Mason Creek Series
I can’t have a comfy cozy list and not mention one of my favorite small town romance series on the market today. That being the Mason Creek Series! This is a series in-which the books are written by different authors. Let’s call it an author anthology of sorts. If you love dreamy moments with heartthrob heroes and small-town living heroines finding their happily ever after, look no further and pick up this series. If you love novels that pack the emotions in and have you crying one minute and smiling the very next. This is the series for you! But be warned, this series comes with quite a few books (30), but each story is based on a new couple with new issues and new hopes and dreams. It’s the perfect series to binge in front of the fireplace. So far, I’m 13 books into this one and I have loved each and every story in their own way!

Bishop Brothers Series – Kennedy Fox
Of course, I can’t have a cozy reads list without my favorite family involved! The Bishop Brothers Series is the perfect introduction into the wonderful world that is created by Kennedy fox. The main reasoning why I love this series, and the spin-off series so much is due to the strong family connection! Each time strong family values are incorporated into a novel/series, I’m going to immediately love it. Let’s also not forget strong and handsome cowboys/ranchers make for some swoony heartthrob heroes! And let’s just rest that giant Cherry on top by saying, the Bishop Brothers series doesn’t end with the fourth book! If you love these brothers, hang on tight and pick up the spin-off/next generational Circle B Ranch series. AH! I can’t get enough of this family, and that’s why I added this into my Cozy Reads list! I could spend hours, days and weeks marathoning these books!

After We Fall Series – Melanie Harlow
Melanie Harlow always brings the emotions with her novels! And the After We Fall Series is no exception to that statement. I still remember the first time I read After We Fall (Book 2 in the series). Since the moment I closed this book, I knew I’d be a fan of Melanie Harlow’s for years to come! I still get excited every time I hear about her releasing a new book. But back to this series, the only book that remains unread on my TBR is Man Candy. Other than that I loved… No, I adored these books! I can definitely see myself wrapped up in my blanket, next to a fire, reading through the pages of After We Fall. Hmmm, that may be a new reality for me.

Good Ol’ Boys Series – M. Robinson
Another recommendation on my long list of recs is the Good Ol’ Boy Series by M. Robinson. If there was every a series by M. Robinson that I could go back and read for the first time all over again, it would be this series! If you’re looking for a romance series with drama, angst, heart, and heat I highly recommend this series. Grab your hot beverage of choice and your most comfortable blanket and curl up on the sofa. It’s the perfect series to binge on those cold nights when all you want is to be swept away to somewhere warm. My favorite book in this series will always be Alex and Lucas’s romance! And now I’m feeling a strong urge to re-read Complicate Me!!

Southern Heart Series – Kaylee Ryan
Yet again, this wouldn’t be a Cozy Reads list without adding a bit of Kaylee Ryan to the mix! I remember the first time I read the Southern Heart series, I feel fast and I fell hard for these heroes finding love. My heart still craves romances like these. Kaylee Ryan has a way of giving the most epic all the feels moments. I’m always swept away from first page until I close the book. This is another perfect series to binge on those long cold days and nights!

Confessions of the Heart series – A.L. Jackson
If you’re looking for a interconnected series with lots of heart, heat, and slight angst I recommend A.L. Jackson’s Confessions of the Heart series! A.L. Jackson is another favorite author of mine. She writes in a way, in romance, that is so unlike any other author out there. Her twists are devastating and her turns give readers hope for a brighter future in regards to the couple the story revolves around. I’m blown away by each and every story she brings to us. My love of the Confession of the Hearts series grows every time I read the novels. So if this is something that sounds intriguing to you, pick it up and give it a try!

Love Story Series – Natasha Madison
The Love Story series by Natasha Madison came as quite a surprise to me. I didn’t expect to fall in love with these characters and cheer them on as they fought through all the obstacles thrown in their path all in the name of love. But there I was standing on the sidelines and cheering them on. Natasha Madison was once a favorite author of mine, and ever once in awhile I get a glimpse into the reasoning behind why I loved her style of writing. This series is the one that now comes to mind when ever her name comes up. This series is full of highs and lows, but at the end of the day, it’s the redemption at the end that truly counts. I loved every word, every page, and every feeling Natasha Madison pulled from me. Definitely recommend this one as a cozy winter read.

Dating By Numbers Series – Meghan Quinn
Meghan Quinn is another author who shouldn’t be left off any cozy reads list. If you’re looking to marathon a series that has just as much humor as it does heat and heart, I highly recommend the Dating by Numbers series by Meghan Quinn. Honestly, if you’re looking for laughs with slight angst, you can’t go wrong with anything written by this author. She brings her A-Game to each and every book she gives us! Perfect reads to cozy up to!

Rough Riders Series – Lorelei James
If you’re in the, Cozying up to something a bit more sexy,ย mood. I highly recommend Lorelei James’ Rough Riders series! But be warned, this series is full of passion, heat, and scandalously sexy moments. I’m obsessed with these sexy cowboys and their strong-willed stubborn ladies… and sometimes gentlemen. Like I said, be warned! I just bought Lorelei James’ Blacktop Cowboys series, I can’t wait to marathon that one this winter, of course that’ll come after I complete the Rough Riders series. This is definitely a cozy read that’ll have you on the edge of your seat with anticipation.

Thank you! I love a good Forced Proximity type novel. But I haven’t found all that many that are really great… One of my favorites is Storm by Carian Cole! I love when the trope revolves around snow storms/blizzards. If you have any recommendations, let me know!
