I haven’t seen her in three years.
I haven’t talked to her since the kiss.
So why am I on a plane, flying across the world to spend a week with her in Germany?
One word: Pops.
My life’s a mess.
My possible football career is hanging on by a thread.
I’m driving the roads of Germany in honor of Pops with the one girl I can never have.
And I’m sharing a bed with her, the girl I’ve measured everyone else up to, while desperately trying to not to touch her.
We made a pact growing up, never to get romantic with each other – never fall in love.
And I’m about to break that pact. For good.

Meghan Quinn brings all the feels with this novel!!! I couldn’t get enough!!
In My Own Words:
The Romantic Pact by Meghan Quinn is the second novel in the Kings of Football Series! In the mood for a road trip, look no further and take this journey with Crew and Hazel. These two are unforgettable!!!
Crew had the worst football season of his life, and to make matters worse, he spent his summer at training camp when he could have been spending it with his late grandfather… With all the guilt swimming around in his mind, it leaves his family and his close friends to get a bit worried about him. Now is the time for a secret road trip of a lifetime planned by Crew’s grandfather. It was his last wish for Crew to head off to Germany and see the place where his grandparents fell in love.
Now Crew is on the plane ready to embark to an unfamiliar country, when suddenly a familiar face comes into his view. The face of the girl he loved long ago, the girl he could never have due to their romantic pact. Hazel.
My Thoughts:
OMG! I can’t even tell you how much I swooned while reading The Romantic Pact! I loved Crew and Hazel’s story SO FREAKING MUCH!! And if I’m being honest, this may be my favorite novel by Meghan Quinn to date.
I’m a sucker for road trip romances. I love the thought of finding yourself and finding new, or old, love on the road. My heart feels full and light just thinking about it.
Crew and Hazel go way back. Their grandfathers were best friends and every summer when Crew came to visit, He and Hazel followed in their footsteps and became the best of friends too. I loved watching them carry on with the scavenger hunt Crew’s grandfather left for them. My heart broke again and again for Crew and the emotions his grandfather was forcing out of him with every letter and every place he and Hazel visited.
You know what, I’d rather not say anything else about this novel. I’d rather you read it and get an insight of all the beauty that is Meghan Quinn’s writing firsthand. This is a novel that should be read and cherished. Hazel and Crew’s story tugged at my heartstrings. I laughed, I cried, I felt a moment of fury, and I felt empathy towards the situation. It’s been quite a while since I felt that many emotions while reading a novel.
Overall, I highly recommend this novel to everyone who believes in true love and fate. Give this book a chance, you won’t be sorry!
