HELL YEAH!!! This series keeps getting better and better! I’m addicted!

The Storm is a novella told from Tru and Jake’s point of view.

Jake just received some unsettling news that a paternity suit has been filed against him….. and his deceased best friend Jonny. Now he must find a way to tell Tru without totally wrecking what the two of them have built.

But on the other hand, Jake knows deep in his gut that this thirteen year old boy can’t be his. Which only means, a piece of his best friend lives on in this young man.

Holy Shit! The drama just escalated that much more with this novella. I can’t even begin to describe how excited I was when I first read the blurb for The Storm! I knew this novella was going to be intense and all consuming from the start.

I loved getting an insight of Tru and Jake’s life now. They have three kids, a seemingly perfect marriage, and a love that can run the world. Which made Jake’s fear that more intense. He has a lot to lose and he’ll do everything in his power to not lose his family.

I can’t believe there is only one more published book in the series. I’m at a loss for words, my heart is breaking knowing i’m almost caught up on this series. I need more Tru and Jake in my life. I need more Tom and Lyla!

Overall, this novella was the perfect set up for Storm Slaters story! I couldn’t wait to finish this review before diving into it last night. I’m currently 37% in and my heart just keeps thumping away. I’m loving Storm but I’m loving Stevie even more. It is not recommended you read The Storm before reading Finding Storm, but I highly suggest it! Seriously you won’t want to miss all the emotional drama that lies within this novel, and let’s not forget, Jake and Tru’s very adorable three year old daughter, Belle! What’s not to love. Seriously!!!
