From New York Times bestselling author Samantha Towle comes a new, sexy standalone novel about love, lies and rock stars.
The son of an icon.
He was a legend. Rock royalty.
A man I never met.
But I’m measured against him in every aspect of my life.
The only time I feel like me … the real me … is when I’m onstage with my band. But the more we grow in popularity, the more people compare me to him.
I’m not him. And I never will be. If only everyone could figure that out for themselves.
I need a break from it all.
Then, a confrontation has me jumping in my car, putting LA in my rearview mirror. And a stupid mistake ends up with my car on the side of the road. And straight into the path of a girl who is the exact opposite of everyone else in my life.
She’s like everything I used to know.
And she has no clue who I am.
Even if she did, I don’t think she’d care.
She thinks I’m cavalier.
I think she’s intriguing. And hot. Let’s not forget hot.
I’m stuck in this town overnight while my car is being fixed. But I’m thinking I’m gonna stick around a bit longer.
I’m Storm Slater, lead guitarist in Slater Raze and the only child of the late, great Jonny Creed. But, here, right now … I’m nobody. Just a regular guy.
I’m liking it a whole lot.
And I’m liking her even more.

Finding Storm is the fourth book in The Storm series by Samantha Towle.
Storm Slater has had enough. He’s burned out from living in his later father, Jonny Creed’s, shadow. He’s burned out on the rock star lifestyle. He needs a break and he needs one now. When he learns news from a journalist about what occurred before his father’s passing, he confronts the men of The Mighty Storm and finds they’ve been keeping secrets, he decides a little time away can do him some good. So with his phone shut off and his gas on the pedal, he tries to forget.
Stevie hasn’t had an easy life when you factor in relationships. At a young age, her mother left her, her father, and her brother in the rear view mirror. And the fact that she walked in on her fiance cheating on her was just the icing on the top of a disastrous cake. Now in life, she focuses on helping run her grandmother’s bed and breakfast. She doesn’t need a relationship, nor does she want one.
Until her brother calls her asking if she can take the tow truck and bring a car into his shop. One tow is all he’s asking for, unbeknownst to her that this pick up will ultimately change the course of her life.
I had no clue what I was getting myself into when I started Finding Storm. All I know is I was intrigued as HELL with Storm Slater! I needed his story and I needed it now. There was a lot that surprised me when it came to Finding Storm.
Let’s start with Storm. This man is as complex as they come. On the exterior he is this tough bad ass with a snarky attitude and a cocky appeal. But beneath the surface, he’s just a boy looking for acceptance in a world that judges his every move. And given the fact that he’s a legendary rock star’s son doesn’t help the judging at all. My heart broke for Storm and all he’s been through and all he continues to go through.
Now onto Stevie! Stevie is my favorite! She doesn’t let her past define her instead she’s learned from it all and in the end it’s only made her that much better of a person. Her energy and aura is off the charts! I couldn’t get enough of her quirky moments. It was an endless amount of laughter!
When Stevie and Storm first meet, there is an instant chemistry. I couldn’t get enough of these two and their conversations. You see, Stevie is an eighties queen. She lives her life with cheesy eighties music in the background. She’s not current with new music, and doesn’t care for rock music.
The fact that Stevie is able to get to know Storm as the person and not as the rock star was freaking amazing! And it made their connection that much stronger. There was so many sweet moments but there were also moments that had the ability to shatter my heart.
I don’t know what I was expecting going into Finding Storm, but I for sure wasn’t ready for all the sweet scenes and swoon worthy moments. I wasn’t expecting for Stevie to be quirky and a true sweetheart. She gave it back just as she got it. She was crazy in the most beautiful ways. She was exactly the dose of different that Storm needed in his life.
Overall, Finding Storm was a great addition to The Storm series. I’m so glad I decided to pick up this book and give it a read. This story was everything!!! I highly recommend Finding Storm to everyone that needs a little bit of sweet in their life!
