HOLY HERO! I can’t resist a hero like Cobi Mayson. He’s everything I expect from a hero coming from ARR. He’s growly, possessive, and in complete control. Damn fine too, let’s not forget.
In this novel we get a glimpse into the life of a man on a mission of protecting the mysterious woman who trailed his cousins kidnapper. Cobi Mayson grew up hearing about the inevitable BOOM they Mayson men all face once in their lives. When he gets a call he never in his wildest dreams would have thought that call would ultimately lead him to his BOOM.
Hadley Emerson has never felt fear as great as what she’s feeling now after her near death experience. All she intended to do was save a woman from being kidnapped. Now its an endless array of up all nighters and sleeping with the lights on. When hot-shot police officer Cobi Mayson enters her life she quickly learns he’s the salve to heal her fear.
Cobi grew up hearing about the inevitable boom. When he immediately feels a connection with the woman who ultimately saved his cousin’s life, he knows he’ll do everything in his power to watch over and protect this mysterious woman.
I have to say, I missed ARR’s alpha-heroes. I don’t know what it is but something about this author’s writing compels me to want to pick up every single novel she writes. Her novels are typically fast paced and on the instalove side of the spectrum. I legit can’t get enough. Every time I read a novel written by ARR I’m always wanting more and more!
Overall, I really enjoyed Until Cobi. I feel this is the best one from the Until Him series. Serious one click potential!
