Hello all! Welcome to another WWW Wednesday post. If you’re new to my blog, WWW Wednesday is a weekly book meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. Each week there are three questions to answer.
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you plan on reading next?
I hate to admit, I haven’t read much this week. It’s been busy with Thanksgiving, Family time, and endless christmas shopping. Yesterday was the first day that I sat down and actually read a novel for longer than thirty minutes. It was great to get a little me time after a hectic week. So without further ado, let’s get started.
I’m Currently Reading:
I just started Folsom by Tarryn Fisher and Willow Aster! Oh my lord, I am so freaking addicted to this one and I’m only 29% Into it. It’s so different than the typical romance. I’m loving Gwen and her ‘outside of the box’ thoughts. She is so different than the other women in this romance world. I can’t wait to dive into this bad boy some more.

Folsom

The nation as we know it is a thing of the past.
With the male species on the verge of extinction, a society called the End Men is formed to save the world. Folsom Donahue is one of twelve men whose sole purpose is to repopulate the Regions. The endless days spent having sex with strangers leaves Folsom with an emptiness no amount of women, money, or status can fill.
Until Gwen.
Gwen has wanted a child for as long as she can remember, but when she finally gets a chance to have her own, she uncovers a long hidden truth. The injustice she sees moves her to help save the men whom no one else believes need saving.
A forbidden love, grown in a time of despair, ignites a revolution.
Folsom and Gwen, torn between their love for each other and their sense of duty, must make a choice. But some will stop at nothing to destroy them.
I’m also reading an advanced copy of All Of Me by A.L. Jackson! So far, i read the prologue and oh my holy hell this prologue has angst written all over it! I’m already hooked. I need more IAN!!! this man, my god. He is no doubt going to shatter my soul.

All Of Me
(confessions Of The Heart #2)
By: A.L. Jackson
Publisher: Indie
Publication Date: December 3rd, 2018
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Format: Arc received via A.L. Jackson
Blurb:
A stand-alone forbidden romance…
People call me callous. Arrogant. Ruthless.
I call myself tenacious.
One of the most powerful attorneys in Charleston, I don’t let anyone or anything stand in my way.
Until a chance encounter changes everything.
One glance.
One touch.
One night.
It only leaves me wanting more.
But Grace is off limits. Most people would even say forbidden.
Everyone knows an attorney can’t sleep with his client.
Too bad I already did.
And even with the threat of losing everything, I don’t know if I can stop myself from having her again…
I Recently Finished:
I only finished one book this week…. That book being an advanced copy of Insistent by Kaylee Ryan. Insistent isn’t your typical rockstar romance novel. Gaven is legit a sweet man who is willing to set his heart on the line for the woman he knows he’s meant to be with. This novel is so freaking adorable. I loved Gaven and Cassidy’s love story! Insistent also has a hint of angst surrounding around Cassidy and her mother’s Alzheimer’s. I’m not ashamed to admit there was a moment in this novel that had me crying. Anybody with a heart would feel those emotions. I rated Insistent 4 out of 5 stars

Our relationship was complicated, and I knew I had my work cut out for me. I have to prove to her that she’s all I see. That no matter how the past reads, we can re-write the future.
He’s the sexiest one of the group, in my personal opinion. We’re friends, and colleagues, well technically he’s my boss. He’s also the man that consumes my thoughts, and my desires. I have too much at stake to allow myself to jump into bed with him, but I really really want to.
One taste and I know I’ll never be the same. Cassidy can prolong this all she wants, but I know how it ends. When she’s mine.
He’s relentless, and I let him drag me under his spell. It can’t happen again, but Gavin, he’s Insistent that this is just the beginning.
What I’m Reading Next:

Music . . . the heart’s greatest librarian.
The average song is three and a half minutes long; those three and a half minutes could lead to a slow blink, a glimpse of the past, or catapult the soul into heart-shattering nostalgia.
At the height of my career, I had the life I wanted, the life I’d always envisioned. I’d found my tempo, my rhythm. Then I received a phone call that left me off key.
You see, my favorite songs had a way of playing simultaneously. I was in love with one man’s beats and another’s lyrics. But when it came to the soundtrack of a life, how could anyone choose a favorite song? So, to erase any doubt, I ditched my first-class ticket and decided to take a drive, fixed on the rearview.
Two days.
One playlist.
And the long road home to the man who was waiting for me.

I swore I’d never go home again.
With nothing more than a few boxes and a beat up truck, I left behind my old life at the tender age of eighteen to pursue my medical career.
And I never looked back.
Twelve years later, I find myself traveling back to the sandy shores of that North Carolina town where my late father has left me his medical practice. Coming here means facing my past… My memories… And her — Molly McIntyre.
Growing up, Molly had been my entire world, first as a childhood friend and then so much more. We’d made promises to each other back then. Promises I broke when I walked away. And now that I’m back? Well, let’s just say she’s not exactly the head of my welcoming committee. But even she can’t deny the undeniable spark that still burns so brightly between us and soon, we’re tumbling fast and hard into the past.
But I need to keep my eyes set to the future, because mine isn’t here in this dead end town. Not anymore.
All Molly has ever known is here, on this small island. Could I really ask her to give it all up? For me? If I walk away again, will she follow?

Yay for Folsom! I liked that one. I thought it was so unique. I hate to say I wasn’t as big of fan as Jackal, but maybe you’ll be. I just finished Jock Rule and it was so much fun! Happy reading!
