A.L. Jackson brings a whole new vibe with her newest release ‘More Of You’. The typical angst I’ve grown fond of is still there only now it’s accompanied by a somewhat darker and mysterious vibe! More Of You is the first book in the brand new ‘Confessions of the Heart’ series.

About More Of You:

More Of You takes us on the wild whirlwind journey of Jace and Faith.

Jace Jacobs is your typical teenage boy from the wrong side of the tracks. He has no business eyeing Faith. She’s pure and everything that is good. But fate has its way of stepping in and Jace can’t stay away. The connection is too strong.

Faith love Jace Jacobs, the boy from the wrong side of the tracks. The troublemaker. But she doesn’t see him as those things. She sees his goodness that lives beneath the surface and she’ll do everything in her power to set that goodness free. Until Jace shows up on her doorstep paying the ultimate sacrifice and breaking Faith’s heart in the process.

My Thoughts:

I just finished More Of You and I have to honestly say, A.L. Jackson blew me away… yet again… with her words. When I started More Of You I made a vow to myself that I wouldn’t rush through this book, that I would take my time and savor it, and that’s what I did. Jace Jacobs is definitely a man worth savoring. This man stole my heart from the start.

Jace is a complex character, he has a heart of gold but has been so mistreated in life that he guards his heart and locks his feelings up tight. He’s an anomaly and I never wanted to hug a fictional character more than I wanted to hug Jace. My heart legit broke for him.

There is truth to the darkness portrayed in this novel and the emotions unraveling. Faith’s breaking point nearly caused me to shed a few tears. I had to drop a star due to my ability to easily predict the ending of this who is the mysterious threat. I knew it the minute said character entered the scene. Hats off though for making me totally second guess myself somewhere in the middle.

As always I’m a sucker for little tots in novels and Miss Bailey a.k.a Button stole the show! Her cutie scenes were everything! I loved her immediate connection with Jace and the moment he became her Jacie……AHHH… I can’t contain my giddiness when I think back to those little moments. It’s the little things in life that mean the most to me!

Overall, I loved the hell out of More Of You! I loved the dark vibes, the cutesy button moments, and the overall sexual tension between Jace and Faith. I loved the mystery theme! I need more books such as this one in my life. I cannot wait for Ian’s story!!!! This man is going to steal my heart!
