This weeks Top Ten Tuesday is: New-To-Me Authors I Read For The First Time In 2016
This year alone i have read some pretty amazing authors that are brand spanking new to me!
Lets Get Started!
Cora Carmack
Cora Carmack is the author of the Rusk University Series and the Losing it Series. I read my first Cora Carmack novel which was All Lined Up in February! I was hooked. When it comes to the Losing It series I’ve only read Losing It, but i now own Faking It and plan on reading it this month sometime!
M. Robinson
M. Robinson is a brand spanking new to me author and I’m so glad I found her this year! M is the author of the Good Ol’ Boys Series, El Diablo, and Road To Nowhere (New Release) She also wrote the VIP series which I have not read yet. One thing about M’s writing you should know before jumping into a novel. She is the QUEEN OF ANGST. Every novel that I have read of her’s literally tore my heart out of my chest. My Obsession started with Complicate Me, which i read in February!
Alessandra Torre
Alessandra Torre is also a new to me author. I guess I’ve been hiding under a rock, due to the fact that Moonshot is the first novel I have read by her. I loved ever bit of this novel. If you’re and Alessandra Torre fan…What books by this author do you recommend?
CJ Martin
CJ Martin is the author of Off Key and Knockout. Both of these book were released this year and honestly i can’t pick which one is my favorite. Off Key is a rockstar romance and Knockout is a Fighter romance novel. I love both of these novels equally and I’m so glad I found this author!
Natasha Madison
I have mad love for Natasha Madison. She is a brand spanking new author…to everyone…She released her debut novel ‘Something So Right’ in August and then came out with her second novel Hell and Back in October. I loved both of these novels equally but for different reasons. Something So Right is a hockey romance. Hell and Back is more of a dark read. It touches on the subject of domestic abuse, mostly in flashbacks though. Loved them both!
Molly McLain
I can’t believe Molly McLain is a new to me author. I read the Fly and Fight (Velocity Series) and loved it! Bend is my latest read by Molly McLain….AMAZING! I’m also glad I found this author and i do plan on marathoning the River Bend series in the future!
K.L. Kreig
Of course I have to mention this author. K.L. Kreig. You all may have heard my many praises on her novel Black Swan Affair. So we won’t go there but let me tell you something about this author. I don’t know about Kreig’s other novels due to the fact that i have not read them…yet. but Kreig has a way of reaching in and twisting your heart until you thing its broken before letting go and saying ‘hahaha just joking’ you get a HEA. I can’t wait to read more from K.L. Kreig.
M. Never
M. Never….One thing I learned from reading a couple of her novels this year…sit by a fan while reading….your going to need to cool down after the sexy time scenes. I Read Moto back in May (i think) and i recently read an ARC of Elicit. Elicit is part of a series but can be read as a standalone.
R.K. Lilley
I was introduced to R.K. Lilley’s Tristan and Danika series this year. I loved this series.
Courtney Cole
Courtney Cole has a series called Beautifully Broken out! Holy Hell is this series amazing. All of the novels are standalones but companion novels. My favorite from this series is If You Stay. I have yet to read Until We Fly, it’s on my TBR though.
Marata Eros
Marata Eros almost gave me a heart attack while reading a Terrible Love. The anticipation of knowing something bad is going to happen but not knowing when is always slightly beneath the surface. I literally threw the book down and screamed i can’t do this i can’t read anymore before picking it back up and continuing…yep my boyfriend and puppy both thought i was psycho that day. I have not read A Brutal Tenderness yet (book 2 in the A Terrible love duet) but i plan on it.
Thanks everyone for checking out my Top Ten Tuesday. While writing this post I realized there are a ton of books that I’ve forgotten about. How the hell did that happen? I can already tell i’m going to have a busy reading year in 2017!

I just adore Cora Carmack. I really enjoyed the Losing It series (especially Faking It with Cade and Max) but it’s her Rusk University series that I love so hard. With each book I was like, “Okay, now *this* is my favorite couple.” LOL I thought no one could beat Carson but I have to admit that I really fell for Silas. Swoon!
I agree! Every book was a new obsession for me…Silas is my ultimate favorite!
I haven’t read books by any of these authors! I definitely want to check them out though! Your description of “Terrible Love” definitely peaks my interest- sounds like you were super into that one!
I read a terrible love within a couple of hours. I couldn’t put it down! Definitely check out some of these authors! Their amazing!
