Synopsis
Too fast, too furious-and way too hot to handle . . .
Mackenzie Cox has a lot to prove. Daughter of a racing legend, she is eager to show the world that she has inherited her father’s talent in the male-dominated sport of professional motorcycle racing. The last thing Kenzie needs is to be antagonized by her rival team’s newest rider, Hayden Hayes. Plucked from the world of illegal street racing, Hayden immediately gets under Kenzie’s skin. His insinuations that Kenzie is a spoiled princess who was handed her career fuels her desire to win, and much to her surprise, Kenzie soon learns she performs better when she’s racing against Hayden.
As Kenzie and Hayden push each other on the track, the electric energy between them off the track shifts into an intense–and strictly forbidden–attraction. The only rule between their two ultra-competitive teams is zero contact. Kenzie always does her best to play by the rules, but when her team slips into a financial crisis, she has no choice but to turn to Hayden for help. The tension simmers during their secret, late-night rendezvous, but Kenzie has too much to lose to give in to her desires. Especially when she begins to doubt that Hayden has completely left his street life behind…

My Review:
Furious Rush is like a modern day Romeo and Juliet.
Kenzie is a Cox Racer. Racing is what she lives and breaths. She has a lot on her shoulders this season (her first season in the pro’s). Her dad’s Racing Company is slowly going under and the fate of the company rests on her shoulders this season.
Hayden is a Benetti racer by day Illegal street Racer at night. When the two meet a spark is ignited but then fate steps in when they realize they are racing on rival teams.
There is only one rule no fraternizing with the enemy. But When Kenzie realizes she needs Hayden and that she is a better racer when she is near him that rule goes out the window quickly. She will do anything to save her dad’s legacy and that includes joining Hayden on his illegal nightly ‘Activities’.
I freaking loved this novel. It’s a given though. i have loved everything that S.C. Stephens has written. I kept my eyes open though when it came to Furious Rush due to the fact that i wanted to give an unbiased opinion which can be hard to do when you have a favorite author.
Furious Rush was a nerve wrecking adrenaline pumping heart racing novel about forbidden love and going against the rules to do what your heart tells you to do instead of what your brain wants you to do.
I loved Hayden and Kenzie together. I loved the raw passion that formed between the two throughout the time span of the novel. There was so much sexual tension in this novel, even i felt sorry for the characters!
I can’t wait until the next Furious Rush novel comes out. There were some unanswered questions that i’d like answers to ..
