Wild Devotion is the thirteenth book in Sadie King’s Wild Heart Mountain: Wild Rider’s MC series. If you are new to this series, have no fear because each book can be read as a standalone. Be warned though, you may have a strong urge to marathon these quickie reads after reading one. Wild Devotion is about a wounded hero finding faith in himself and acceptance from those around him. Luke aka Chariot never though he’d find himself destined to a wheel chair, but life dealt him a hand and here he is striving and surviving.
Isla, on the other hand, is on the run with her brand new baby boy after fleeing from her ex-fiance’s emotionally abusive grasp. She’s found solace and comfort in the Wild Rider’s MC clubhouse. And ever since she’s locked eyes with Luke, she’s wanting to find comfort in someone else’s arms for the first time in a long time. And Luke craves that exact feeling.
I have a new favorite book and hero in the Wild Heart Mountain: Wild Rider’s MC Series and that hero is LUKE!!! This man has the heart and mind of a warrior and a champion! I adored every moment he had to offer in this novel! My heart loved Luke, Isla, and baby Cody!!! My heart flew happily through this novel. I adored Isla’s ability to see Luke for the man he is. She never wavered due to his disability and I respected the heck out of her character for it. As for Luke, I absolutely fell for this hero from the start. I loved his strength, his courage, and his protective streak. I also loved his vulnerability. Same goes for Isla.
I gave Wild Devotion five stars because I felt the heart and the emotion that Sadie King pumped into this novella. What else can I say aside from I adored Wild Devotion most of all!!
