I only read Ugly Love and it was my introduction to both the genre and author and I found the smut way too heavy, I hated it. It made me avoid romance for a while. This was long, long ago. I think 2016 LOL.

I’m sorry Ugly Love was a miss for you. I have moments where I gravitate towards romances heavy on the smut one minute, and then the next read I’ll be craving a wholesome clean romance. I’m thankful there are different books and different subgenres in the wonderful world of romance!
I was completely new to the genre, so this was kind of a culture shock for me.
