It has been a long while since I last read a novel written by the wonderful A.L. Jackson. It has to be said, A.L. Jackson has a unique way of making a reader feel like they are sitting on the sidelines watching everything happen. Everything from the detailed plot to the emotions had me enamored! From Here To Eternity was the type of read I couldn’t put down! It was the pivotally endless just one more chapter promises throughout the whole night and day! My heart was invested from the start!!

From Here To Eternity is the first book in the Moonlit Ridge Series by A.L. Jackson. This is River Tayte and Charleigh Lowe’s story! And let it be known if you loved A.L. Jackson’s Redemption Hill Series, you are most definitely going to love this series!!!! Due to Charleigh and River’s story being wrapped around suspense filled moments after a suspense filled moment, I decided to take out the ‘In My Own Words’ portion of this review.

Now, let’s dive into my spoiler-free thoughts on this novel.

I went into this novel knowing without a doubt I would like the premise and the outcome, what I didn’t expect was how much I would actually fall in romance book love with the characters, the premise and the outcome!! Holy crow! When I say I was consumed by this novel, I mean every word. I am blown away by the fact that I didn’t see any of what occurred within this novel coming!! That is why I decided to give this novel a full 5 star rating! I love it when a novel isn’t easy to predict!! It makes it that much more interesting!

The characters were wonderful. Charleigh is a mystery from the beginning until the very end. I loved the suspenseful vibes that surrounded her throughout this novel. My heart, on repeat, broke for her and the life she was forced to live. There were times I wanted to reach into this novel and shield her from the storms that were set to erupt. It’s been a long time since I last cried for a character. A.L. Jackson had me crying so many tears for Charleigh. Some were tears of happiness, but most were of sorrow. What I loved most about Charleigh was her hidden strength. The more she let herself fall for River, the more that inner strength shined bright. She was ready to live again. This woman is a warrior!

And then we have River and his adorable son Nolan. I think my heart fell for River right away. This man is fiercely protective over those he holds nearest to his heart. There is also an air of danger that continues to circle this man. But that danger is more in the form of a protector. Enemies should definitely beware his wrath. My heart loved this man, especially when it came to Charleigh! And that’s all I’m going to say here.

There is so much I want to talk about when it comes to this novel, but I just can’t due to spoilers. I loved the alpha-hero/heroine on the run trope, the single dad vibes, and the touch her and die premise. Charleigh and River are two kindred souls that were written in the stars. I can’t wait to read more from this series in the near future! I have a feeling it’s going to be filled with unforgettable romances such as this one! I loved every moment!! I’ll try to update my review in a month or two when I’m less likely to spoil new readers. Until then, just know, From Here To Eternity by A.L. Jackson may just be my new favorite novel written by this author!! It’s going to be hard to top this one!!
