Synopsis:

This all-new small-town romance is packed full of motorcycle club suspense, and fans of the one-bed trope, are going to devour every word.

They call him the Wolf.
His club, his brothers, and even my best friend Callie.
I didn’t really care what they called him, not when the only name I had ever called him was, coward.
Because three months ago he snuck under my resilient heart, like the thief he is, and stole it.

Then he broke it.

Going home wasn’t an option, not when I promised Callie I’d stay. She swore I’d eventually feel like I belonged in this small town.
The club ensured I had a job, and a place to live which reluctantly earned my loyalty.
Until I discovered their little caveat.
The apartment technically belonged to the new president.
I was welcome to stay…as long as I understood it meant sharing.

And my new roommate?

The very man who turned avoidance into an Olympic sport.

Where We Belong is the second book in the Stone Riders MC Series by Ashley Munoz. This book follows the new President of the Stone Riders MC, Killian, and his leading lady Laura. Get ready for their emotional journey of finding and accepting love into their lives.

Laura Witt felt like she has never fit in anywhere, until the moment she stepped foot into the Stone Riders Motorcycle Club’s territory. She’s never felt that zap of love that is mentioned in romance novels, until she locked eyes with Killian Quinn, the new president of the Stone Riders MC. But it wasn’t their time, and Laura finds herself on a bus leaving Virginia and heading back to Washington DC.

Killian ‘The Wolf’ Quinn made a promise to himself to never get too attached to someone, because attachments equal a weakness he refused to show. That is, until Laura steps into his clubhouse and sparks ignite in his very soul. He knows, she’s his equal. But he’ll do everything in his power to push her away. For pushing her away means she’s protected from all the club’s enemies.

But, as we all know, fate is a fickle bitch and likes things to happen her way. Killian breaks down one night and sends the keeper of his heart, unbeknownst to her, a message that has her riding back into town. Adjusting to becoming the new president isn’t all Killian has to worry about. Laura is carrying some hefty secrets of her own, that may just blow the roof off from the Stone Riders MC clubhouse!!

My Thoughts:

I’m starting to see what all the hype is about when it comes to Ashley Munoz and her Stone Riders MC Series! I think I may be addicted to these characters and the Stone Riders MC World. Everything from the action to the chemistry and let’s not leave out the spicy scenes, is on a whole different level! I’m intrigued and anticipating more! I loved Where We Belong and the emotion that hit every single one of my heartstrings. Let’s get started with this review starting with the main characters.

First we have Laura Witt, I have to say, I loved the fierce protective vibe this character had over her best friend, Callie, and the Stone Riders MC members. She was fierce, outspoken, and not afraid to go toe to toe with the president. Those are all traits that make for a great first ‘old lady’ in the clubhouse. But this woman also comes with a vulnerable side a mile wide. Laura dealt with a lot of abandonment issues in her younger days where her family is concerned. She was a pawn that her father used on a daily basis to grow his career in politics and honestly, there were moments in this novel where I wanted to reach into my novel and slap those that treated her unfairly.I felt a sudden need to protect every fiber of this character!

And then we have Killian ‘The Wolf’ Quinn. Killian is the epitome of a heartbreaker, with his tattoos, style, and bad boy charm. But this man doesn’t mean to be a heartbreaker. My heart fell for this man from the very beginning! He’s caught between a rock and a hard place, he’s finally been given everything he worked so hard for, and then love is thrust in his face with a great big target on her back. The constant push and pull coming from this man’s heart literally had me in tears. I understood why he was pushing Laura away and keeping her at arms distance, but it still hurt to watch all the same.

The connection between Laura and Killian threw me for a loop and had me falling hopelessly in love with their love story! through all the back and forth and all the pushing away and pulling back in I felt the love and chemistry between these two. There wasn’t a moment where I thought they would crumble. I knew they were each other’s ride or die from the very beginning to the end and I loved every moment. The reasoning why I dropped a ½ star on my rating had to do with Laura and her past/secret. I wish this fact was weaved through the story a little bit more than just a mere mention or two. I wanted more suspense from her side of the tale. And her family life and childhood could have had a greater climatic effect on this story.

Overall, I am loving the Stone Riders MC Series by Ashley Munoz. I loved the emotional depth that went into Killian and Laura’s story the most! My heart broke and healed numerous times while reading this novel. This was exactly the novel I was looking for, that I had no clue I needed in my life. Now, I can’t wait to start Jameson and Penelope’s story! Bring on the tears, the surprises, and the angst because given the ending to Where We Belong I have a feeling Where We Promise is going to be full of emotions!!
