Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted byย That Artsy Reader Girl.
Todayโs category:ย April Showers โ Pick your own title for this one to reflect the direction you choose to go with this prompt (books with rain on the cover/in the title, that have rainstorms in the story, or that have anything to do with rain)
After a few weeks of searching for books I read that featured rain in the title, my total was 1 book, that book being Make It Rain by Sasha Marshall. If you haven’t read her Guitar Face Series, I highly recommend it!! I searched on Amazon for romance novels with rain in the title, and I’ve come up with nine beauties that sound really intriguing to me. So let’s get started with this top ten tuesday!

Peace Love and Happy Reading,

Looks like we had the same idea for this prompt. I haven’t read any of my selections either but they all sound interesting!
Great minds think alike!
Great looking covers! I just did water on the cover to help myself out ๐ water seems to feature on the covers of a lot of different genres which I found interesting.
Have a great week!

Oh my! I never thought of just using water on the cover. This topic was difficult!
I had to give myself a flexible prompt ๐
It worked in your favor! I loved the different genres in your post!
๐ thank you. I do like to highlight genres ๐
I need to expand my genres. I felt so much envy *in a positive way* when I looked at your list. (LOL)
๐ I set myself a different genre goal each month in order to try and vary my reading. I’m still learning about new genres out there. I recently learnt about narrative non fiction which I would like to try at some point!
Ohh! That sounds intriguing. I’ve never heard of narrative nonfiction until now.
I only learnt about it last week. Apparently it’s non fiction told as a story. I can get on board with that. I tend to struggle with non fiction normally.
That sounds really interesting, I’ll have to check it out more.
I’ve seen a couple of books that I want to try at some point (maybe next month if I have time ๐ค); The Library Book by Susan Orlean and Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly.
I hope you enjoy reading these in the future!

Thank you!!
I wonder what it is about rain and romance? Getting soaked and disrobing perhaps?
For me, it’s all about the passion and pure intimacy. Rain scenes tend to happen after an argument or moment of separation/breakup in the romance novels I’ve read.
That’s an interesting observation. I’m going to have to look out for that, although to be honest I don’t read that many romance books.
I’ve been wanting to read more books outside of the romance genre, but it’s a bit intimidating for me. Honestly, I admire readers who read multiple genres.
Sometimes I have to pick books I havenโt read yet for these prompts, too. You found some nice ones by the look of it.

I found a few romances I had never heard of before. Those went on my tbr right away! I can’t wait to check them out!
I did books with rain in the title too. I had Becoming Rain on my list. I loved that book/series.
Ohhh! I’ll have to swing by your blog and check out your list!
Great list. Here is my post https://paigesofnovels.com/2024/04/02/top-ten-tuesday-rainy-day-reads/
I’m glad you were able to find some! I love the rain ๐
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

Me too! Although, I could use some more sun and less rain right about now… Ugh, I’m ready for Summer.
