Question Of The Day:
How do you organize the books on your bookshelves? (Color, Author, Series…ect)
My Answer:
When I was in high school, I was a cadet/aide for the library. Basically, I helped elementary kids find books, read books, and check out books. And when that task was done, my next job was to put the checked-in books back on the shelves, in chronological order by the authors last name. SOOOO, it’s ingrained in my brain that all books on shelves need to be in chronological order based on author’s last name…. and there is no other way. (Haha) Believe me when I tell you, I tried placing my books on my shelf by their color…. that lasted one day. I tried by size of the paperback, that lasted for a week. and I tried by series, sub-genre, and trope… NOPE! It looked like chaos to me. I stick with categorizing my books on my shelf based on the author, and there’s no other way my brain will tolerate it.

Haha! Library style! I love that.
Yes! There is no other way my brain will allow me to categorize my bookshelf other than library style. (Haha) It’s a struggle. Especially when I see all the beautiful shelfie posts on instagram. I have a serious case of shelf envy right now.
