Question of the Day? | What is your favorite Season?

Welcome back!
Today marks day ten of my Question of the Day journey.

 I’m going to switch it up a little and throw out an unrelated book question today!

Question Of The Day:
What is your favorite season?

My Answer:

The one thing I love about living in Michigan is the fact that we have four seasons (Springs, Summer, Fall, and Winter. I was talking to Mr. Man about this the other day, I don’t think I would be able to live in a state that doesn’t have four seasons, There’s beauty in every season. For instance, here in the country, I can tell exactly when spring is about to break through winter’s doors. From the smell of the grass to the birds chirping early morning. As it warms slightly and breaks into summer, the smell of dirt is rich in the air. Fall brings leaves changing colors and vegetables ready to harvest, while winter allows the land and gardens to heal through all the went through the season before. It’s a never ending cycle and I love bearing witness to it all. I love all the season’s for each detail they bring.

But if I had to chose a favorite season I’d say Late Summer/Early Fall.

One of my favorite hobbies is gardening and all that comes with it. I love planting the vegetables and I love the harvest that usually comes along with canning/dehydrating/blanching and freezing. I definitely feel more in my element during the summer. I also love those late night bonfires. Sitting around a fire swapping jokes and sharing memories with family and friends is also one of my favorite traditions.
