Welcome back!
Today marks day seven of my Question of the Day journey.
So let’s get started!
Question Of The Day:
What is your favorite quote from a novel?
My Answer:
“It’s easy when we’re on the outside to believe that we would walk away without a second thought if a person mistreated us. It’s easy to say we couldn’t continue to love someone who mistreats us when we aren’t the ones feeling the love of that person. When you experience it firsthand, it isn’t so easy to hate the person who mistreats you when most of the time they’re your godsend.” – Colleen Hoover (It Ends With Us)
Colleen Hoover has some of the best quotes in my opinion! But the one I posted above, coming from It Ends With Us, gutted me! This quote made me think about abuse in a whole new light. Not only on a physical level, but also on an emotional and mental level. My thoughts when watching a movie or reading a book, why doesn’t he or she just leave. It would be so easy to pack up and hit the road… but then I read It Ends With Us, and I came to the realization. There’s no simple way towards seeking help, especially if that man/woman used to be your safe space. This book not only f’d my mind up, it also f’d up the mind of a few family members I recommended it too.
So this quote will go down in my history as being my all time favorite, because of the thought provoking element it holds within it’s letters and words. If you haven’t read It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover, I highly recommend you check it out. But be warned, it does come along with some pretty large triggers, such as abuse.
If you want to join me on this journey, you can answer the question in the comments, or create your own post and tag me in it! I’d love to see and interact with all of your answers!
Peace Love and Happy Reading,

Great quote.
There are so many great quotes from this novel. It was hard to choose my favorite. But as soon as I reread this quote from my saved quotes, I knew it was the one. There’s so much power behind these words.
