Today I’m venturing down a new path.
My blog has basically been all about books and less about me on a personal level.
With this post, i’m going to dive into everything I’ve done in the week, whether it be good news, bad news, or boring as all hell news. Spring is coming up, so I’ll be planning my garden for the summer, yard work, and other projects. So I’ll be sharing more of me on a personal level, while keeping up the traditions and posting about books and also sharing other hobby type things.
I have been dragging this week. I went home last weekend and spent some time with my family. A couple of my nieces had colds… and low and behold…. I’ve spent the past couple days trying to get over said cold. I’m feeling better now, though. Aside from that, I haven’t really done anything this week worth mentioning… It snowed on Monday in Michigan… and here we are on Sunday at almost 80 degrees. I think I’ll go for a walk today, the sun always makes me feel better. I’ll definitely be soaking up some vitamin D today.
This week I found myself diving into Kaylee Ryan and Lacey Black’s Fair Lakes Series! If you are looking for a romance series with swoony heroes and small town vibes, I highly recommend this one! Kaylee Ryan and Lacey Black continue to amaze me! It’s Not Over is a second chance romance about a newly signed ex-husband and ex-wife. One more night is all she will give him, but of course, fate has other plans for these two and that one night ends in a pregnancy! I am loving It’s Not Over! Harrison brings all the swoony vibes! I can’t wait to see what the rest of the series has in store.
This week I’ve had two songs repeating throughout my house. I’m a country music fan, so with this post you’ll find me typically leaning more towards the country music side of the spectrum.
This week I’ve been listening to everything the Josh Abbott band has to offer and I am loving their song Settle Me Down!
I’m also listening to a lot of Lainey Wilson this week. My song on repeat for her is Tougher. This song has been giving me all the feels this week!
I’m currently on a One Tree Hill series marathon…. I’m currently on season 8 and I’m loving this show just as much as I did when I watched it the first time around. I also watched the CMT Awards show yesterday. My theory is if you record it you can skip through the commercials and acts you don’t necessarily care for. It usually takes a two hour show and cuts it in half for me. In all honesty, there were a few performances I liked, but other than that I think I’m done with watching awards shows 🙁

I was beyond thrilled to find the last two books in Kaylee Ryan and Lacey Black’s Fair Lakes series in Kindle Unlimited! I can’t wait to dive into Just Getting Started and Can’t Fight It. Of course these two would be additions to my Kindle Unlimited Library.
I also just added Kandi Steiner’s Best Kept Secrets series to my Kindle Unlimited Library! The blurb to this series screams angst and all the feels! I’ve only read a couple of Kandi Steiner books and I’m definitely looking forward to read more from this author. I can’t wait to dive into this series!
