With all the drama suddenly swirling around her, she will have to figure out if she is brave enough to trust Maxim with her heart and maybe even her life.
My Review
One thing I can always count on when it comes down to novels written by Aurora Rose Reynolds is that she always brings the heat and the strength where her characters are concerned! And all the Alpha Vibes, that’s all a sugary sweet bonus I look forward to and definitely has me coming back for more!
In My Own Words:
Until April is the tenth book in the Until Her/Him series by Aurora Rose Reynolds. This series is also a *next generation* spinoff series to her Until series. If you haven’t read either yet and are in the mood to binge all the books, you should get on that! These books are fun, easy, and slightly emotional reads. And it’s no joke, ARR always brings the alpha heroes!
April Mayson is the daughter of Asher and November. So to say she’s used to the alpha tendencies is no joke. And in a way, this has given April a mild streak of independence and strength that’s undeniable. After her ex-boyfreind, April hasn’t seen the need to settle down with just any man. She want’s a relationship as close as her mother and fathers, and she won’t settle for less than what she expects.
Maxim didn’t come to Tennessee to find love, but sometimes fate intervenes and love finds you. That’s what ran through his head the moment he laid eyes on April Mayson, well an older version of April Mayson. She’s no longer the sixteen year old who gave her first kiss to him. No, she’s now a woman who still makes his heart beat like never before. And he’ll do everything in his power to make April his girl.
My Thoughts:
Holy Crows Feet!! Every time I see ARR has released a new novel, my instincts to immediately pick up the book take over! I’ve loved the majority of the Until series and the Until Him/Her series and Until April is another in a long list of books from these series that I couldn’t get enough of!
Let’s first talk about Maxim! This man’s strength matched April’s Fiesty independence flawlessly. I was hoping she’d team April up with a man damn near identical, personality wise, to her father. I can’t get over the protective nature this man has. I was head over boots in love with his character and his willingness to do everything and anything in his power to protect those he holds near and dear to his heart. THIS MAN!!!
Now let’s talk about April. I have to say, I loved everything about this woman from the way she guarded her heart to her strong independence. This woman’s goal in life is to conquer the world. I loved the fact that she set her standards and she didn’t go back on them, mainly talking about her douche rocker of an ex-boyfriend. However, If I had one negative thing to say about her, it would have been the fact that I wanted to see more feistyness within her character. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the fact that she had an iron spine during certain moments. But I wished she would have walked away flipping the middle finger to that one particular person who wronged her and continued to wrong her.
Putting Maxim and April together was the perfect outcome for her story. I loved everything about these two together. Their personalities clashed from time to time showing readers that not all relationships are filled with rainbows and sunshine. There are hard moments, especially when starting a relationship. There are trials that test even the strongest of men and women. And I loved the way Aurora Rose Reynolds brought this fact to life in this novel.
I also have to state, I loved getting a glimpse into the family as they are right now! I just wished we would have had more time with April and her parents, along with April and her sisters. I missed that family time I love so much when it comes to these novels. And that is the main reason why I dropped a star rating on Until April. I wanted more moments where April’s sisters and her family get’s to know Maxim. I wanted that tight, close knit, family bonding time more than what was given.
Overall, I enjoyed this novel. I loved April’s strength and Maxim’s Alpha-Male Vibes. I thought these two were perfect together and for once in my reading life, I’m glad she didn’t wind up getting back together with her douche of an ex…. Because let’s face the facts, Maxim was SOOOOO MUCH BETTER!!! And that’s enough rambling for the day. If you decide to check out this book, I hope you like it as much as I did! Enjoy!

Great review! I enjoyed this one, but at times felt a little overwhelmed by everything that was going on. It felt like there were so many storylines!
Yes! Between the realtor murders and the ex’s fanatic fan base, there was definitely a lot going on. It may have gone a touch overboard.
