Reaper’s Wrath is the second book in the Road To Salvation trilogy. It’s crucial you read Gavin’s Song before diving into Reaper’s Wrath, this is a continuation trilogy and must be read in order! 

Believe me when I say, reading the entirety of Gavin and Ginny’s story won’t be a hardship. Gavin and Ginny’s story is my newest obsession! I can’t get enough of these two!

I’m not going to go in full depth on this novel, I feel this trilogy should be experienced through the beholder, and not by what someone else is saying in order to grasp the true emotion, sacrifice, and overall love that both Ginny and Gavin had to go through to get to where they are truly meant to be. 

Gavin has been put through the emotional, mental, and physical wringer. There was no coming out of his situation without scars, and his scars run as deep as the ocean. Ever since Gavin showed up in Jamie Begley’s world, I’ve been intrigued. My intrigue grew further once Gavin decided to become Reaper. This man was dead set on vengeance and redemption. This man’s main motive in life was to seek out those who wronged him and see to it they spent the rest of their eternity in the pits of hell, where they belonged. And then Ginny happened. 

Ginny’s heart is full of gold, and she’s as pure as a newborn baby’s smile. But Ginny has also been put through the emotional wringer, and by the end of Reaper’s Wrath I was clutching my kindle as if it were a lifeline. Ginny was raised to believe in certain elements of life. She was raised to believe the stars have the power to tell a story and map out a person’s life. She was raised to believe that one soul spends their forever looking for their other half. And when she first spotted Gavin she knew this man held the other half to her soul. She knew he was her mate and she’d do everything in her power to fix the hurt inflicted on him. 

But not everything is crystal clear, Reaper/Gavin has closed down his heart and shut down his emotions. He won’t be swayed into falling in love again. He tried that once before, and you see how that turned out. My heart hurt for Ginny but I loved her strength when it came down to Gavin and his internal demons. She fought Reaper tooth and nail just to get those few glimpses of the Gavin she knew was buried beneath the surface. 

I have to say the cliffhanger had me immediately picking up Reaper’s Salvation!! I’m so glad I waited to dive into Reaper’s Wrath until I knew Reaper’s Salvation was published. I had a strong feeling there was going to be an insane cliffhanger.
