I couldn’t have asked for a better ending for Travis and Viola’s story! But that cliffhanger leading up to Drew and Courtney’s story…… HOLY HELL! I can already see shit’s about to go down hard!

In My Own Words:

This is Love is the conclusion to Travis and Viola’s story, this novel picks up right where This Is War leaves off, it is highly recommended you read This is War before diving into this novel.

Viola thought everything couldn’t possibly be anymore perfect in her life. She not only got the boy version of Travis, but she also FINALLY got the man version. All her hearts wishes have finally come true and her love life is starting to look up.

That is until she finds out Travis was involved in a car accident, and he wasn’t alone. Now comes the test, can Viola trust Travis after all they’ve been through. Can she trust him to be honest. Can she trust him to be faithful to her!?

My Thoughts:

After finishing This Is War, I was a bit hesitant but also excited to start This Is Love. It’s been a long times since I feared what would come after a cliffhanger. And, it has to be said, I was scared beyond belief of what This Is Love would initially bring. With that being said, I loved the direction Kennedy Fox went with Travis and Viola’s story! My heart felt all the emotions, from the playful banter to the tears and confusion. I felt it all.

What I loved most of all was Travis changing his ways and becoming the man worthy of Viola’s attention and attraction. I’m a sucker for a reformed bad boy/manwhore novel, I love the redemption period that tends to come with these novels and the moment when the manwhore realizes he’s never going to get the girl until he changes his ways, is my favorite moments!

I also loved Viola and her no nonsense vibe. When she felt like she was being played she laid all her cards and her heart flat on the table. My heart broke for both her and Travis in this moment when the trust was broken. It was inevitable. I found myself fighting back tears when Viola describes leaving Travis crying in the driveway….. LORD help me, I can’t take seeing or reading about a man crying.

The ending was one of my most favorite moments in Kennedy Fox history! I loved the secret ____ aspect! I loved Travis’s reaction to finding out about the secret ____! These two are not only hilarious with their back and forth banter, but they’re also undeniably sweet when it comes down to the moment. To put it simple, I loved these two soooo freaking much and I can’t believe it took me this long to marathon Travis and Viola’s duet!

Overall, This duet was AMAZING!!! But now I have another couple on my mind! Drew Fisher and Courtney Bishop! I can’t wait to see what wild antics these two bring the the table!!
