Right now I’m currently reading 44 Chapters About 4 Men by BB Easton! I’m twelve chapters in and so far I’m loving this novel! BB Easton is a new to me author, and judging from this book, I can see she’s an author I’ll be keeping my eye on.
44 Chapters About 4 Men
By: BB Easton
Genre: Romance/Memoir
Publisher: Forever Romance
Publication Date: April 7th, 2020
My Format: Paperback
Blurb:
One woman’s secret journal completely changes her marriage in this hilarious and biting memoir — soon to be a Netflix Original Series.
School psychologists aren’t supposed to write books about sex. Doing so would be considered “unethical” and “a fireable offense.” Lucky for you, ethics was never my strong suit.
Sex/Life is a laugh-out-loud funny and brutally honest look at female sexuality, as told through the razor-sharp lens of domesticated bad girl BB Easton. No one and nothing is off limits as BB revisits the ex-boyfriends — a sadistic tattoo artist, a punk rock parolee, and a heavy metal bass player — that led her to finally find true love with a straight-laced, drop-dead-gorgeous. . . accountant.
After settling down and starting a family with her perfectly vanilla “husbot,” Ken, BB finds herself longing for the reckless passion she had in her youth. She begins to write about these escapades in a secret journal, just for fun, but when Ken starts to act out the words on the pages, BB realizes that she might have stumbled upon the holy grail of behavior modification techniques.
The psychological dance that ensues is nothing short of hilarious as BB wields her journal like a blowtorch, trying to light a fire under her cold, distant partner. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but in the end, BB learns that the man she was trying so hard to change was perfect for her all along.

This week I finished two novels, the first was an advanced copy of Catch Me When I Fall by A.L. Jackson!! I loved Royce and Emily’s story! My review will be posted in a few days.

Catch Me When I Fall
By: A.L. Jackson
Series: Falling Stars Series
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Publisher: Indie
Publication Date: June 1st, 2020
synopsis:
Sometimes trying to catch a star will light your whole world on fire….
Emily’s entire existence is wrapped up in touring with her up-and-coming country rock band Carolina George and trying to build them into a music legend. Her passionate night with a gorgeous, tattooed bad boy was the result of too much time on the road, too much tequila and combustible physical chemistry. It was never supposed to follow her into the light of day, much less threaten everything she and the band have worked so hard to create.
Royce’s night with the lead singer of Carolina George was the worst mistake of his life. He needs the band to sign on to his record label or his family will pay the price. But will his irresistible attraction to Emily destroy his carefully laid plans?
Royce’s past is littered with mistakes and heartache – will his love for Emily be just one more tragedy?
I also finished a paperback copy of A Secret For A Secret, the third book in the All In Series by Helena Hunting. This is Kingston and Queenie’s story. Okay, I have to say I loved the name play! King and Queen, these two were so adorable. I couldn’t get enough of Kingston’s chivalrous side. My review will be going up tomorrow.

My name is Ryan Kingston, and I’m a rule follower. I’ve never been in a fistfight. I always obey the speed limit. I don’t get drunk, and I definitely don’t pick up random women at bars.
Except the night I found out that my whole existence has been a lie.
I got drunk. And picked up a stranger.
Her name was Queenie, and she was everything I’m not: reckless, impulsive, and chaotic. We did shots and traded secrets. And ended up naked at my place.
She left me a thank-you note in the morning and her panties as a parting gift. But no way to contact her.
Six weeks later I’m sitting in the first official team meeting of the season, and there she is. I neglected to mention that I’m the goalie for Seattle’s NHL team.
And Queenie? Turns out she’s the general manager’s daughter.

Peace Love and Happy Reading,

That 44 Chapters books is NUTS! I read it a while back. I think she wrote individual books about each guy, too. I have one of them, but haven’t read it yet. I really want to read the one about her husband. I hope you continue to enjoy it and I’ll be watching for that HH review tomorrow!
44 Chapters is blowing my mind! It’s so crazy! I’m definitely going to look into the individual books. I want more!
