A SOCIAL EXPERIMENT.

The concept was scary but exciting…
Marry a total stranger. Live together for six months. Journal everything. (Feelings. Fights. All of it.)

After six months, we each get $50K in trade for our journals, whether we stay married or not. But the goal is to commit to the experience and see if the relationship experts could put together the perfect matches.

I’ve never been lucky in love. This was my chance to find my soulmate, and hopefully, the man of my dreams. I couldn’t wait to meet the man the experts felt was perfect for me, but my hopes were immediately shattered when I saw him at the altar.

He was my worse nightmare all wrapped up in a bad boy attitude and tattoos.

Or was he?

I knew from the blurb that Talon’s story was going to be my favorite. What can I say, I’m a sucker for an experimental relationship. But then add the fact that these two complete strangers have to marry and carry on a life together, I’m hooked!!!

About Talon:

All Talon wants out of life is for someone to see him as a person and not just a musician. But living the life of a rockstar makes it hard to find a nice girl who wants something more than just to shag and bag a rockstar. When Talon’s mother comes to him with an idea of an experiment. Talon will just about try anything to get his dream girl.

Asia wants a relationship, but everything she’s tried has been a total bust. Until her best friend comes to her with an experiment. a six month marriage with a complete stranger. It’s a risk but one she’s willing to try. After all, it’s only for six months, right!?

My Thoughts:

Gah! This novel hooked me from the very beginning!!! I love the, marry a complete stranger, concept. But when you add two complete opposites, one party being a rockstar while the other is a wallflower, It can either blow up in their faces and be a recipe for a complete disaster or it can go the other way and be a recipe for an epic adventure. Either way, I was hooked.

What I loved most about this novel is the way Carian Cole brought two complete opposites together and slowly had them adapt into each other’s lifestyle and gave each other something they had no idea they were missing.

Two complete opposite attitudes and views on life, two complete opposite personalities, two complete opposites. This is what made this book so fascinating to me. I loved how Talon and Asia were both forced out of their comfort zones and forced to live a life that was so unlike what they were used to.

Overall, this was a great read, and maybe one of my favorites in this series. I do have to say though, I hated the lack of communication moment……….. yet again. This could have easily been a five star read for me if only that little bit of drama wasn’t added at the end. I was connecting with the characters, I was loving the vibe and then….BAM…. the rug was ripped out from under my feet. and that connection was deeply severed. I could have easily done without the drama. But I’m quickly learning, Carian Cole loves to rip the rug out from beneath her readers.

In the end, I still really enjoyed Talon and Asia’s story.
