This week has been craaaaazy and in the midst of all the craziness I managed to read 8 books……. WTF! How is that even possible!?!? I’m unstoppable! I read so many amazing books this week. but before we get into them, let me give you a little rundown on what WWW Wednesday is all about.

If you’re new to WWW Wednesday, this is a weekly book meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. Each week we answer the three W’s.

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you plan on reading next?

I’m currently reading an advanced copy of Make It Rain by Sasha Marshall! I first fell in love with the Guitar Face series in 2015… it’s been quite a while, but as I was scrolling through my read books on goodreads I realized I never finished the last book in the series….. I decided to do a reread of the whole series and found it even more addicting than I found it the first time. I read all five books in under three days.. If that’s not a consuming series, then I don’t know what is. Lol. So far, I’m loving Make It Rain! I can’t get enough of these characters and this series.

Make It Rain
By: Sasha Marshall

Series: Guitar Face #5
Genre: Rock Star Romance
Publisher: Bell Bridge Books

When you rip the Guitar Goddess’s world apart, and your own, how in the f@k are you supposed to find redemption? She’s my world, and I’ve shattered her. What began as a break for us to both heal, ends in the dissolution of our relationship. I committed the most unforgivable transgression. One more tragedy—one more f@king tragedy—may be the only way back into her heart. I have one more chance to explain what really happened, and hope she believes me.

But maybe not everything is as it seems.

Henley

He was the only one who had never betrayed me, until he did. He never lied to me, until he did. He was always by my side, until he wasn’t. The one person who had always been my constant, best friend—and then lover—left me. Then, he showed up again with his gorgeous green eyes, tattoos, and undercut, and I have a hard time staying away. But I also can’t seem to look him in the eye anymore. I can’t give him any more of my heart, because that precious little organ barely survived him the first time.

Maybe we should never have crossed the line from friends to lovers. If we hadn’t, I’d still have him by my side. If we’d never danced the way we did, he’d still be my best friend. I don’t know how he’s supposed to fit into my life anymore. He’s always made my life brighter, happier, and carefree. How do you learn to live without that?

I thought I knew everything about him, but now I question everything.

This book is not a stand-alone novel. Books 1-4 in the Guitar Face Series should be read first. If you are looking for a story of redemption with comic relief and a heavy sexual tone, you’ve found it. If you are offended by hot, tattooed rock stars, who are vulgar then this is not the book for you. Please be warned, this book is not for anyone below the age of 18. The book has sex, death, violence, and harsh language.

This week I finished 8 books. I finished two advanced copies: Shifting Gears by Janine Infante Bosco and Cold Queen by K. Webster. I finished 2 just for me reads: Venom by Dee Garcia and Nine Minutes by Beth Flynn. And last but not least I am nearly finished with the guitar face series by Sasha Marshall: Broken, There’s No Crying In Rock n’ Roll, Walking Back To Georgia, and River Of Deceit. All of these reads were phenomenal!!!

I have a few advanced copies I need to read this week. After I finish Make It Rain by Sasha Marshall I will probably jump into these reads.

      1. I thought Out of Time was even better than Nine Minutes. You’ll love it because it’s going to answer questions you didn’t even know you were asking!
