Happy Wednesday and welcome back to another WWW Wednesday post! If you’re new to WWW Wednesday, this is a weekly book meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. Each week we answer the three W’s.

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you plan on reading next?

Let’s get started.

I’m Currently Reading:

I’m currently reading T.A. by Jamie Begley! Finally I have a chance to sit down and binge the last two books in Jamie Begley’s reading order! So far, I’m like T.A.’s story. I’m not over the moon in love with this book, but hopefully that changes. I’m currently at 17%. We will see.

T.A.
(Biker Bitches #6)
By: Jamie Begley

Genre: MC Romance
Publisher: Young Ink Press
Release Date: March 1st, 2019

Blurb:

Cuffing season was supposed to be about finding a hook-up to keep her warm during the cold Kentucky winter nights. T.A. wasn’t looking for Mr. Right; she just wanted Mr. Available.
That was before she met Dalton Andrews. The widower was nursing a broken heart, and the only thing he wanted was a woman to take his grown kids’ minds off worrying about him.

It was supposed to be a trade-off—he would keep her warm and toasty during the nights, and she would put up a smokescreen in front of his kids during the days. It was a win-win situation.
That was until the famous actor decided he wanted out of the deal and Mr. Available was a no-show during the biggest snowstorm of the year.

Poor schmuck didn’t realize that all the drama he had experienced in Tinseltown was nothing compared to dealing with this bitch.

I’m also reading an advanced copy of Resist by K. Bromberg. I’m only a chapter in so I can’t for sure tell you all If I love it or not. The first chapter has me intrigued to read more though. Again, we shall see.

Resist
(Wicked Ways #1)
By: K. Bromberg

Genre: Contemporary Romance
Publisher: Montlake Romance
Release Date: July 3th, 2019

Blurb:

From the New York Times bestselling author of the Driven series comes a powerful romance about reaching great heights through low depths.

Who says you have to play by the rules to get what you want?

Agreeing to meet Ryker Lockhart is my first mistake. Rich, handsome, and more than intriguing, he thinks blackmail will bend me to his will.

But he’s wrong.

I may have done a few things that weren’t exactly legal, but I have my own reasons for that. The last thing I’m going to do is let some high-powered divorce attorney come into my life, have my body, and rule my heart. Not to mention ruin everything that I have carefully built in just a short amount of time.

But as much as I try to resist him, and against my better judgment, there is something about him that has me agreeing to his proposal.

I’m putting everything on the line for him. I just hope I won’t lose everything when this is all over.

I Recently Finished:

This week I finished four books! The first was an advanced copy of Wreck My World by Victoria Ashley. If you’re looking to dive into a book with all the feels, this is a definite must read! Easton Crews swept me off my feet. So much love for this book and for Victoria Ashley for bringing me this beautifully broken romance.

Wreck My World
By: Victoria Ashley

Genre: Contemporary Romance
Publisher: Self Published
Release Date: June 25th, 2019

Blurb:

For as long as I can remember, Easton Crews has been off-limits. As much as it kills me, that’s never going to change.
After his little disappearing act three years ago, then suddenly showing up out of nowhere, I shouldn’t want anything to do with him.

It doesn’t matter how beautiful he still is. Or how close we once were. It shouldn’t matter that my entire body lights on fire with need whenever he gets close.

He chose the worst possible time to leave without so much as a goodbye. However, just like the first day he walked into our home, I’m drawn to him, needing him near me just as badly as I need air to breathe, and I can’t stand it.

I want to hate him. I know I should hate him. But hating him is the last thing he’ll let me do. I push, he pulls harder, until I’m completely wrapped up in him, my mind lost in the one person who is forbidden—the one person I’ve always loved, even when he belonged to someone else. Easton was never meant to be mine.

It took me years to come to terms with that and now that I finally have, he’s here, right in front of me, more irresistible than ever.

The part I fear the most about that—he’s the one person capable of completely wrecking my world.

I also finished an advanced copy of Justified by Jay Crownover. I freaking loved this book so much. The enemies to lovers vibe, mixed with a little suspense made for a great compelling read.

Dear Skylar,

Five years. That’s a long time to go without talking to somebody, especially someone who was such a huge part of your life…

A letter from my first kiss and my childhood everything…from prison.

He may be nicknamed Saint, but this sweet, sexy biker most definitely has a wild streak. Hearing from him draws me right back into the Knights of Fury motorcycle club—the people I’ll always think of as family.

He’s still the only man I’ve ever wanted.

Each good, old-fashioned letter from my “prison pen pal” has my heart racing. Which is nothing compared to how I feel when Saint surprises me in person, as a free man.

I was just a kid the last time we saw each other, but the connection between us now is anything but innocent.

He’s the type of man who would do anything to protect his woman. And with my world crashing down around me, that’s exactly what I’m going to need.

I’ve never had a reason to go against his wishes…until I met her.

Drew Carson turned my world upside when she walked into my club looking for a job.

Now, my honor and my life are on the line.

  1. I’m still jealous you’ve already read Meghan March’s new book. I am excited you loved Justified. It’s my favorite that I’ve read by Jay Crownover so far.

    1. I haven’t read many books by Jay Crownover, but now I’m itching to get my hands on more. Justified was a great read! Loved it but found the suspense portion to be a bit predictable. The romance trumped all my thoughts though!
