(A Deadly Virtues Prequel)
IN THE BEGINNING…
They told them they were evil.
They told them they were possessed by demons.
They told them that darkness ran in their veins.
Holy Innocents Home for Children is a haven for orphaned boys who have nothing and no one. The priests watch over them, educate them, raise them in the family of the church.
Except for some.
Seven of the orphans are no ordinary boys. They attract the attention of the priests for their acts of violence, of bloodlust. The priests realize these boys are drawn to the darkness.
And the priests are no ordinary priests. They are the Brethren, a secret sect who believe themselves on a divine mission to seek out evil in the boys in their care. Seek it out, and then drive it out.
The seven have fallen from God’s grace. And the Brethren will cleanse their blackened souls…
Dark Contemporary Romance novella. Contains sexual situations, violence, sensitive and taboo subjects, offensive language and topics some may find triggering. Recommended for age 18 years and up.

The Fallen: Genesis by Tillie Cole is a wickedly entertaining novel that takes the normal cookie cutter novel and smashes it into oblivion. If you’re looking for something that crosses the line and tugs at your every moral, I highly recommend you give this novel a try.

The Fallen: Genesis is the prequel to the brand new Deadly Virtues series by Tillie Cole.
I’ve found if I want to read something completely different and out there, Tillie Cole is the author to go to. She has been known to write some unconventional romances, and although I haven’t read as much as I would like by her, the material I have read definitely put this author in my top author category.
The Fallen: Genesis is the beginning to an end. Seven boys, named after seven archangels, who have been led down the road to purgatory have finally escaped. All have different urges but one thing remains the same between the fallen, they all have the urge for bloodshed.
After Joseph (aka Gabriel) comes up with a plan to get himself thrown in purgatory in order to save his brother, the road of The Fallen was set in place. Now Gabriel will do all it takes in order to save his brothers, even if it means spilling a little blood himself and going against everything he believes in.

I can already predict the Deadly Virtues series is going to be my newest addiction! I’m already intrigued by all the brother’s in The Fallen, I cannot wait for the chance to dive into each one’s head and see their thought process and also see what happens in their lives to make them like they are. I’m very intrigued! But as for The Fallen: Genesis. This was a great start to what is going to be a kickass series.
I do have to add that this book holds a few trigger warnings and a few disturbing scenes that will legit make you flinch and want to lash out with anger! All Joseph (aka Gabriel) wants to do is protect his brother James (aka Michael). But as we all know and have learned at different times in life, when protecting someone, you tend to put yourself in the crossfires.
Overall, this was a great start to the Deadly Virtues series! Now i’m sitting on pins and needles in eager anticipation for more! I need so much more!

I’ve been debating reading this book. I think I’m going to have to if it’s going to be that addicting!
I highly recommend reading this book before diving into the actual series. There is a ton of information that shouldn’t be missed. It’s a great read but very unconventional with a ton of trigger warning material.
Good to know!
