From USA Today Bestselling Author K Webster comes an enemies-to-lovers, angsty college romance in the intense, page-turning Elite Seven series!
My life has been served to me on a gold platter to be devoured by my silver spoon.
Money, money, and more money. It’s the backbone of the Goddard name. I’m the only son, so it’s all mine for the taking.
But sometimes money isn’t enough. I always want more, yet nothing seems to satisfy me.
My father has made sure I become a part of The Elite Seven. Where most candidates are chosen, I was given my place. Everything comes at a price, though. Luckily, I can afford any price—no one has more money than God.
The Elite Seven have their initiations. My task is personal and beneath me—steal a car and send a warning. It’ll hurt my best friend in the process, but we both made a pact going into this. There’s no line we won’t cross.
My task makes an ugly turn and I nearly take a life. Such a small, unimportant person. Someone no one would even notice if she were gone. She’s a problem my money, and now power, can easily sweep under the rug.
It’s what my father wants. It’s what my brothers in The Elite Seven want. Yet when she finally opens those big, innocent brown eyes, I realize I’ve found what I’ve been searching for my entire life. I don’t want my little problem to disappear…I want to keep her.
Money is my legacy, but I want something money can’t buy.
I am Baxter Samuel Goddard, V.
I am Gluttony.

HOLY SHIT! IT IS ON!
These boys don’t mess around when it comes to getting revenge and protecting their own!K. Webster, you just knocked this series out of the fucking ball park!!!!

Gluttony is the fifth book in The Elite Seven series and is written by K. Webster.
This novel is told in Baxter Goddard, also known as God or Gluttony, and Zemira’s point of view. I’m still fairly new to the wonderful world of K. Webster’s writing style, But as I read more I’ve come to realize I’m starting to become a fan of hers!
There’s just something about a damaged character with redemption in his eyes that really gets my heart pumping and my adrenaline flowing. And that pretty much sums up God. God is flawed in the most beautiful ways. I found this man is easy to love, no matter how egotistical or broken he is. He’s sinfully delicious, a complete addiction to anyone that crosses his path.

If you have been following along with The Elite Seven series, you already know how intense this series plot is getting and how wickedly messed up everything is! Every time I start a new novel I have a mini panic attack because I can say with all honesty, I have no fucking clue what is going on! Usually I can map out a series and I can pinpoint exactly how it is going to end. However, these authors have me completely stumped and I think that is why I find each book to be so freaking alluring. I love not being able to figure this shit out!
God has been the man I was most intrigued about, What’s not to love, this man legit has the world by the balls. He wants and needs for nothing. However, I had a strong feeling this man was going to be the most damaged of the brothers, and this theory has been proven correct. I was expecting this novel to be brutal, but the gut wrenching that came along with it, I was not expecting.
God’s greatest fear has always been the fear of turning out just like his father, a gluttonous overweight asshole. But when God’s task takes a deadly turn, his mind-set completely changes and he’s no longer worried about the man he’s going to turn into,. He’s now more focused on the young coma patient who occupies the hospital bed right next to his guilt. He’ll do everything in his power to make sure she recovers fully.
I loved seeing this humbling side of God. I expected this man to be all ego and nothing short of a complete ass. But K. Webster flipped the switch and made this man so much more than I initially envisioned. I loved his protective vibe especially where Zemira is concerned. He went from ego to swoon in mere seconds.
Without giving anything away, I’m going to leave it at this, Zemira is a freaking WARRIOR! This woman is the exact definition of strength! I need more of her and God!
I am completely blown away by this series! I love not knowing what’s going to happen next. These authors are all freaking geniuses when it comes to leaving us on the cliff, poised and ready to jump! leaving us over here hanging in the air not knowing what the hell is going on. All I know is something big is going to happen.
As for my overall opinion on Gluttony, this novel was epic! What I loved most about Gluttony’s story was the fact everything from his character to his thought process surprised me. K. Webster forced me to appreciate this man for who he is instead of the roll he plays in The Elite. He’s more than just a rich boy and an heir to his father’s fortunes. This man has a soul….although very damaged… a soul is still a soul.
I cannot wait to continue on with this series. If you’re in the mood for something dark and a little different try this series out. But be warned, it’s quickly becoming a serious addiction!
