Zane has learned everything he knows from his father, the most dangerous biker of The Devil’s Dust MC. He devours the darkness with a cocky grin and no f**** to give. His immoral obsessions barely keep him content in a life of chaos and havoc until he finds himself craving more.
Addie doesn’t need the risk that comes with Zane… that is until her perfectly orchestrated life takes a sudden turn and she’s left with nowhere else to go.
She’s sunshine and charities, he’s bullets and ecstasy.
Will he step out of his hell and into her bed knowing it’ll mean that he’s dragging her into the depths of his criminal world?

“Every Devil needs an angel to help him rule his kingdom, and I knew Addie was something angelic the day we both got shot.”
The Blood That Drives Us by M.N. Forgy is phenomenal, suspenseful, and SEXY AS SIN! It’s no mystery that I’m a huge fan of Motorcycle Club Romances and The Devil’s Dust MC series by M.N. Forgy is one of my top favorite series. When I first caught wind that she was writing a whole new spin-off series I flipped the fuck out! Legit! And now after reading The Blood That Drives Us, I have to say, I desperately missed the men of the Devil’s Dust MC and I’m so happy to have them back in my life!
The Blood That Drives Us is the first book in the Devil’s Dust MC Brats series. This first book is Zane (Shadow and Dani’s son) and Addie (Bobby (Stepdaughter) and Doc’s daughter).
“It’s as if she’s so pure and forbidden I can’t help but want to break the rules and see what happens when Heaven and Hell tangle together.”
In the beginning of The Blood That Drives Us we’re met with a ten-year old Zane, and very quickly we learn the same demon that lived within Shadow has been passed down to his son. Zane has rage unlike no other and for a normal ten year old boy who would seem frightening, but not to Zane. This kid embraces his rage like no other. I’m not going to lie, his rage at such a young age frightened me a tad bit.
Also in the beginning we are met with a very innocent Addie, given the fact that her Stepdad is a member of a motorcycle club you would assume she would be a Hellion troublemaker, but thanks to her mom she’s been sheltered from the club life.
“I’ve loved Addie since the day I jumped in front of a bullet for her. But how much more of a monster would I be to lead a lamb to the mythical wolf.”
After being pushed away and had her heart stomped on, Addie heads off to Texas for college. But now years later, Addie is back and Zane has some serious making up to do. But will it be enough?
My Thoughts:
I couldn’t get enough of Zane and Addie! I honestly thought the six-year age difference was going to bother me because of it being an older woman and a younger man. But to tell you the truth, I didn’t even notice it. Zane seems so much older than what he actually is, given the fact that he grew up in the club and basically was forced to grow up at a young age. Which was perfect for the fact that Addie was so innocent due to being sheltered from the club life. It was an interesting concept seeing two kids grow up in the same club atmosphere but raised completely different.
M.N. Forgy definitely knows what she’s doing when writing adrenaline inducing scenes. I was sitting on the edge of my seat holding my breath for so long I ended up gasping for air. I loved the chemistry between all the characters but especially between Zane and Addie, I also loved the forbidden romance vibe throughout Zane and Addie’s relationship. This was a great read with loads of suspense, adrenaline, and enticingly hot chemistry! I highly recommend The Blood That Drives Us to all those looking for your next MC Romance fix!
