I just started The Player by K. Bromberg this morning and already, I’m almost finished with it! Scout and Easton’s story is sexy and sweet. I’m addicted to the endless playful banter and the sex appeal that is Easton Wylder! This man is yummy!

Easton Wylder is baseball royalty. The game is his life. His passion. His everything.
So, when an injury threatens to end Easton’s season early, the team calls in the renowned physical therapist, Doc Dalton, to oversee his recovery. Except it’s not Doc who greets Easton for his first session, but rather his daughter, Scout. She may be feisty, athletic, defiant, and gorgeous, but Easton is left questioning whether she has what it takes to help him.
Scout Dalton’s out to prove a female can handle the pressure of running the physical therapy regimen of an MLB club. And that proof comes in the form of getting phenom Easton Wylder back on the field. But getting him healthy means being hands-on.
And with a man as irresistible as Easton, being hands-on can only lead to one thing, trouble. Because the more she touches him, the more she wants him, and she can’t want him. Not when it’s her job to side in the club’s best interest if he’s ready to play.
But when sparks fly and fine lines are crossed, can they withstand the heat or is one of them bound to get burned?
I’m also reading an advanced copy of Fall by Kristen Callihan. I am loving the witty banter between Jax and Stella. I’m only two chapters in and this book already has me laughing. I can’t wait to see what other emotions Kristen Callihan can pull from me!

The first time I met Jax Blackwood things went a little sideways.
In my defense, I didn’t know he was Jax Blackwood—who expects a legendary rock star to be shopping for groceries? More importantly, a blizzard was coming and he was about to grab the last carton of mint-chocolate chip.
Still, I might have walked away, but then he smugly dared me to try and take the coveted ice cream. So I kissed him. And distracted that mint-chip right out of his hands.
Okay, it was a dirty move, but desperate times and all that. Besides, I never expected he’d be my new neighbor.
An annoying neighbor who takes great pleasure in reminding me that I owe him ice cream but would happily accept more kisses as payment. An irresistible neighbor who keeps me up while playing guitar naked–spectacularly naked–in his living room.
Clearly, avoidance is key. Except nothing about Jax is easy to ignore—not the way he makes me laugh, or that his particular brand of darkness matches mine, or how one look from him melts me faster than butter under a hot sun.
Neither of us believes in love or forever. Yet we’re quickly becoming each other’s addiction. But we could be more. We could be everything.
All we have to do is trust enough to fall.

I finished four books since last weeks post! I am on a role and kicking this tbr list’s ass! I’m so proud of me! Anyways, let’s get to the books. First book I finished this week was an advanced copy of Sin & Ink by Naima Simone. Simone was a new to me author and I’m happy to announce, after reading Sin & Ink, I’ve already 1-clicked several books from this author! I absolutely love her writing style. I fell head over heals for her storytelling and her character connections were spot freaking on! If you want my full in-depth review on Sin & Ink by Naima Simone click here. Oh, by the way, Sin and Ink is now available!!! I rated Sin & Ink 4 out of 5 Stars.

There’s sin, and then there’s literally going-straight-to-hell sin…
Being in lust with my dead brother’s wife pretty much guarantees that one day I’ll be the devil’s bitch. But Eden Gordon works with me, so it’s getting harder and harder to stay away. I promised my family—and him—I would, though.
My days as an MMA champion are behind me. But whenever I see her, with those wicked curves and soft mouth created for dirty deeds, it’s a knock-down fight to just maintain my distance. “Hard Knox” becomes more than just the name of my tattoo shop. However, surrendering to the forbidden might be worth losing everything…
I also finished an advanced copy of Listen, Pitch by Lani Lynn Vale. I liked this one but sadly I didn’t love it like I initially thought I would. The beginning was amazing I loved the chemistry between Rhys and Henley. There was a lot going on in this novel and I felt the situations got in the way of the chemistry between the characters. I was lost halfway through. You can check out my full review HERE. I rated this one 3 out of 5 Stars

Rhys Rivera is the star short-stop for the Longview Lumberjacks. Many know him, even more love him. He has a pretty face, a quick smile, and an air of danger about him that everyone seems to adore.
He’s not known as the bad boy of baseball for nothing.
It all started with his father, who decided to be a criminal mob boss, then die.
Fortunately for his uncle, Rhys wants absolutely nothing to do with the family business and runs before anyone can figure out which way is up.
By the time his uncle, the successor to his father’s criminal empire, thinks to look for him, Rhys has made too big of a name for himself to be taken out quietly, and he wants to keep it that way.
Fast forward eight years, and Rhys is living life one breath at a time, just waiting for the other shoe to drop. That shoe coming in the form of a nosy neighbor who has no idea just how hot she is in her mail carrier uniform.
Her sweet little body and positive outlook on life make him want to laugh at how naïve she is when it comes to the way of the world.
The harder he tries to stay away, the weaker he seems to get, until one day he decides to put his morals on hold long enough to satisfy his cravings.
One time is all he needs—or so he tells himself.
But then two pink lines change everything, and all of a sudden, he doesn’t have just himself to worry about anymore.
The third book I finished was an advanced copy of Southern Devotion by Kaylee Ryan. Southern Devotion is a novella in the Southern Heart series and is definitely worth the read! Ah, David is so swoony, I loved how much of a hopeless romantic this man is! there were definitely times that had my heart melting towards his actions. I also loved how independent Olivia was. I loved how bright their story shines! I rated this one a 4.5 out of 5 stars, only because I wanted more! I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to these two.

“Surprise me,” the words fell from my lips before I even realized what I was saying. Didn’t matter though, they were true. I’m ready to start our forever. I want the future he and I have spent hours talking about, but I’ve never had the courage to reach out and grab it. Now I do.
I knew on our first date; she was the girl I was going to marry. I told her so every chance I could get. Even went as far as asking more times than I can count, but never on one knee. I knew that she wasn’t ready, but I needed her to know that I was.
I’ve been planning for weeks, wanting to make everything perfect. I took her words to a whole other level, and now I’m worried I’ve gone too far.
The final book I finished was an advanced copy of Best Laid Plans by LK Farlow. SO much angsty goodness!! I’m a huge fan of the SURPRISE! YOU’RE A DADDY trope. I feel like this trope has the ability to heighten a reader’s emotion. Not only does the situation pull at the heartstrings but the first time the daddy lays eyes on his child is something I just can’t get over! All the freaking feels! Plus, this one also incorporates another favorite trope of mine and that’s the brothers-best- friend trope. Alden and Natalie’s story is emotionally heartbreaking and relentless on the heartstrings. I freaking loved Tatum a.k.a Tater Tot! She’s the most adorable kid! I rated this one 4 out of 5 stars! And get this, Best Laid Plans is NOW AVAILABLE!!!

The summer before my senior year of high school I had only one goal: to make Alden Warner see me as more than his best friend’s annoying little sister.
Finally, my wish came true and he noticed me. In a big way. Too bad that the next morning he had no memory of our night together, leaving me heartbroken, and as I later discovered…pregnant.
For the last four years, I’ve been rocking the single mom thing, making sure my daughter comes first. In fact, everything is going fine—until Alden storms back into my life, as my new boss.
His reappearance wasn’t something I planned for. Add my nosy, meddlesome three-year-old and an overprotective brother, and I’m obviously in way over my head.
My only hope now is that I can sway Alden to see things my way…but you know what they say about the best laid plans…

I have a few more advanced copies and one was just added to my tbr!!! I’m literally bouncing around in my seat because I’m so damn excited to get to these books! I also plan on reading The Catch by K. Bromberg after I finish The Player tonight.

I have loved Channing Monroe all my life.
In first grade, he asked for my Trapper Keeper.
I hit him in the head with it.
Third grade, we were best friends. We kissed in seventh grade.
Eighth grade, he turned into a bad boy and the rest was a tumultuous storm.
Growing up, the problem was never love for us.
Bad times. Good times. There were times when I felt our love in every inch of my body, vibrating, making me feel like it could bring me back to life.
The problem was us.
The problem is that we’re living in two different worlds now.
Fallen Crest and its millionaires for me. Roussou and their criminals for him. I was thriving in mine and he was running his.
But…
But there were nights I felt we couldn’t be further apart than we were, and there were nights I felt we shared the same heartbeat.
When was it time?
When was it time to either sacrifice, make a change, or walk away from the boy I grew up with?
