Synopsis:
A vacation fling wasn’t what she was looking for, or was it?
Meghan
Five days in Paris sounded like a great idea for three friends. Especially when amazing wine was in play.
It didn’t matter that our rented “apartment” only had one bed, and barely enough space to breathe. We were in Paris and our motto was c’est la vie.
Nothing would faze us, not even the rude waiter at the first restaurant we went to, or the insanely hot manager who was insulted when a bottle of wine was returned.
Nothing could bring me down or knock me off my path to the best vacation of my life.
Alex
I had six days in Paris and then I’d go back to my wine vineyard. It was smooth sailing until three “Americans” came into the restaurant and returned my newest full-bodied, savory creation.
I ignored her until she stormed out of the restaurant looking for a taxi at one in the morning. I couldn’t leave her wandering around the streets of Paris, could I?
I’d give her a ride, make sure she was safe, and my duty would be done. Except, was it?
Something about her pulled me.
This could be a vacation fling. After all, there is no real reason for her to know my interesting secret.
I’m France’s most eligible bachelor.
This ‘faux pair’ is almost a faux pas…

Faux Pas is a complete Standalone novel written by Natasha Madison. Having read ‘nearly’ all of Natasha Madison’s novels, and loving the majority of them, you could call me a serious super fan. One thing I’ve come to expect from Natasha Madison is her crazy ability to lead her reader’s on an adventure. I love novels that involve traveling to other countries and eventually lead to a long distance relationship. I love the struggle and the trepidation that comes along with these tropes. It always leads to drama… However, if not written carefully these novels can feel a tad bit redundant. Don’t fret, Natasha Madison has written her own path when it comes to this travel/long distance romance.
In the beginning of Faux Pas we get to know Meghan and her two best friends Kate and Diana. The three besties are on their way to the most romantic city in the world. Paris! The three Canadian women are wild and crazy. I have to honestly say, I loved the hell out of Meghan, Kate, and Diana. I loved their sarcasm and jokester attitudes. These three besties are freaking hilarious. I couldn’t stop laughing at the shit that comes out of their mouths!
When Alex came into the picture, I had a feeling I already knew his story. It was a tad bit predictable. wealthy man born into an even wealthier family. What his story lacked in surprise, it made up for in sexy hotness and holy hell is this man pure SEX! HOT DAMN! I literally fanned myself a few times while reading. Besides the sexy, another thing I loved was the strong aspect that came with Alex’s family. I’m all about strong family values and the Deville’s show true strength. Their bond is a breath of fresh air.
Faux Pas makes me want to do some serious traveling! I need to experience all the food that is mentioned in this novel….Ahhh Sooooo Much Food! My diet secretly dislikes Mrs. Madison right about now!
I decided to rate Faux Pas a 3.5 Star rating because, even though I really enjoyed this novel, I feltt a little cheated towards the end. Without giving spoilers away, let me just say, I would have liked more from certain moments that were skimmed over towards the end. Certain moments that I was anticipating throughout the whole novel.
I wanted and needed just a little more.

I totally agree with your thoughts on the ending. For me, this book didn’t flow that well. The beginning and middle/end almost felt like two separate books.
Great review!
Thank you ♡ I loved the travel aspect but now that I think about it, the romance and connections felt rushed. You’re right on it not flowing well.
