The Perfect Duet by Meghan Quinn is Now Available! (reviews posted below)

The Left Side Of Perfect – Release Day – August 30

For better or for worse,’til death do us part . . .

The better captured me; she’s who stole my heart.

And made me realize I couldn’t live without this woman.

The worse of her took my breath away–kicked me when I was down and twisted me into a million knots.

When I first met her, I thought she was someone I would never see again.

The second time I ran into her, it was a random coincidence.

The third?

I didn’t know it at the time, but she was the girl I was going to marry.

But life isn’t always perfect. You have to take the better and the worse–even if it means giving her up, having her slip between your fingers, and letting her walk away.

I’m getting married.

This is forever, ’til death do us part.

The Right Side Of Forever – Release Day August 31

In sickness and in health, to love and to cherish . . .

It sounds so simple, to love someone unconditionally.

To give them your heart.

So why is she slowly eating away at my soul with every unanswered phone call, every unread text, and every door left unopened?

She said yes, and yet, in order for her to be with me . . . I need to let her go.

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.

Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.

Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!

The Left Side Of Perfect

✮✮✮✮✮

Omg, the hardest part about writing a review for a book which you love so much, is trying not to include spoilers. So with that being said, I’ve decided to take out the ‘About the book’ section and only give my thoughts on the novel. bare with me, my heart is still an emotional mess.

The Left Side Of Perfect truly describes how fate works in mysterious ways. I’ve loved Colby since reading the Blue Line Duet. I’ve always had a soft spot for him in my heart, especially given the harsh amount of heartbreak that was inflicted on him. When I heard Meghan Quinn was writing Colby’s story, honestly, I may have jumped up and down screaming like a total fangirl at a Backstreet Boys concert…..true story.

I Knew before going into the first novel in the Perfect duet, this book was going to break my heart. I never imagined Meghan Quinn would shatter my soul along the way. I freaking cried…there you have it. This novel deserved all of the tears that fell from my eyes…. I thought my heart was full, I thought everything was going to be perfect…and then….Mrs. Quinn pulled the rug right out from underneath me…..

Not even halfway through, my heart was shattered, because I knew how this first part was going to end. and no matter how much I screamed at my kindle and yelled at Colby, I knew the inevitable was underway.

Overall, this novel hit all the right spots and gave me all the feels! I highly recommend this duet to those who are looking for an emotional read, filled with tons of laughter and even more tears.

When I finished The Left Side Of Perfect, the first thing I did was thank my lucky stars that I was not only sent the first book to read and review… but I was also sent the second book… and holy hell, I am very appreciative that I didn’t have to wait… given the way The Left Side Of Perfect ended!
The Right Side Of Forever is a continuation to The Left Side Of Perfect. If you haven’t read the first book first, I highly recommend you stop what your doing and 1-click the duet now. Its so good! Also, like my last review, I decided not to jump into an ‘about the book’ section due to giving away to many spoilers. Alright, lets get started with this review!

The Right Side Of Forever focuses more on Ryan and the heartbreaking end to The Left Side Of Perfect. OMG! These two seriously need to get their shit together.
Ryan has a shit ton of strength for what she emotionally went through as a child and now what she is going through as an adult. I had a feeling her past wasn’t going to be easy to swallow, damn I had no clue it was going to be that horrible.

Meghan Quinn….stop breaking my heart!

You all, hold onto your hearts. You’re about to lose them to Colby!!!!
This man is sincere, sexy, and unbelievably swoony.
Did I forget to mention he’s a pilot in the Air Force….

I think I loved Colby even more in this book than I did in part one…This fictional man is my undoing. I loved watching this man’s walls come down slowly throughout this duet. He went from reformed man with a chip on his shoulder to a laid back man with a slight chip on his shoulder.

Throughout The Right Side Of Perfect, Ryan and Colby’s relationship further grows just as another relationship in this novel grows apart… I loved the Ryan and Colby bestie moments! I couldn’t get enough of the friendship between these two.

One thing I can appreciate when it comes to this novel and Quinn’s writing, She is so very honest when it comes to talking about abuse in all ways, shapes, and forms. There was no sugar coating Ryan’s past during her flashback moments. I legit cried for this broken little girl. And in those moments I started to appreciate my own childhood more and more. I appreciate my mother and my father for always being there for me and telling me I was beautiful even when I felt everything but. And that is why I will always be a fan of Meghan Quinn’s novels.

Overall, this duet is a new favorite of mine. I can’t wait to reread The Left Side Of Perfect and The Right Side Of Forever. Be prepared to get lost in Colby and Ryan’s whirlwind for the next couple of days. You won’t be able to put this duet down!
