from-the-moment-8

Holy hell has my life been crazy busy since last weeks post. If you all follow my Instagram/Bookstagram and checked out my stories, you probably know I went to a few concerts this weekend. I’ll post photos and more about my…interesting accidental mosh pit experience…in my August Wrap Up. for now let’s just say, thank god for my friends and the nice people around me who literally acted as my body guards. Also, my mama flew out to visit her sister. She was supposed to fly out on Wednesday (last week) but because two planes clipped each other at the Chicago airport, her flight was cancelled. So we had the unimaginable Joy of trying to book her on a different flight…Ugh that is why I totally stay grounded. Give me a car and a tank of gas and I’m set. Long story short, I haven’t had much time to read. I’m totally bummed about it…..but….shit happens.

However, I did finish a book today, and I am now on a roll. Before I officially start, here is what WWW Wednesday is all about.

WWW Wednesday is a weekly book meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. Each week there are three questions to answer.

 What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you plan on reading next?

The Left Side of Perfect

I just started an advanced copy of The Left Side Of Perfect by Meghan Quinn! Colby is literally EVERYTHING! I’m only 8% into this novel and so far, I am loving the hell out of it. I have a feeling that it is going to easily leave me broken by the end though. Meghan Quinn has a way with stabbing a knife in your heart and then making you wait. Thank god I have an arc for The Right Side Of Forever waiting on my kindle. I honestly don’t think I could stand not knowing. Colby is just that special. *Due to this being a duet, I will not post the synopsis. For those who want to read it Click on the image and it’ll take you straight to the Goodreads page.

I’m also reading Rule by Jay Crownover. I chose Rule as one of the books to read for my paperback tbr challenge. Each month I plan on reading 2-3 paperbacks from my tbr shelf. I’m currently three chapters in and I’m really enjoying the writing style and the characters. The storyline is very intriguing and I’ve already wanted to bitch slap Rule’s parents. My heart is legit breaking for him. I can’t wait to pick this book back up and continue reading after my advanced copies are through!

OMG! I cannot get over what I just read. I just finished an advanced copy of Lost Boy by M. Robinson. I’ve loved books that M. has written in the past, but nothing describes how much I truly loved and connected with this story and these characters! M. has went above and beyond every single expectation I had for Noah and Skylar’s whirlwind romance. I’m currently sitting here trying to figure out what I want to say in my review….and….I can’t come up with anything. I am completely speechless. Ugh, the struggles of a book blogger and reviewer. I gave Lost Boy 5 out of 5 stars!

The Right Side of Forever

I’ll be starting my advanced copy of The Right Side Of Forever by Meghan Quinn next! Holy hell, I can already imagine the roller coaster Colby’s journey at finding love…and…keeping love is going to be like. I literally just felt a pang in my chest. My heart hurt so bad for him in The Blue Line Duet, I need this man to find his happily ever after. I am way to invested in this duet! Meghan Quinn never ceases to amaze me! I can’t wait to marathon this duet.

More of You (Confessions of the Heart, #1)

I’ll also be starting an advanced copy of More Of you by A.L. Jackson. I received More Of You through the author and it’s release date is set for September 10th! I cannot wait to dive into this whole new world full of emotional goodness! A.L. Jackson is one of the greats when it comes to writing novels that make her readers FEEL. and I mean really FEEL EVERYTHING!
