WWW Wednesday is a weekly book meme currently hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. Each week there are three questions to answer.

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you plan on reading next?

I am almost through with my June arcs and then its time for my paperback tbr! I cannot wait to dive into my paperbacks! I miss the feeling of holding a physical book in my hands.

What are you currently reading-

I started an advance copy of The Upside Of Falling by Meghan Quinn! I’m loving the fact that the hero in this novel is in the air force! Now thinking about it, I’m pretty sure this is the first romance novel I read that involves the Air Force…hmmm. As for what I think about it so far, five chapters in and I’m loving it!

Tucked away at the base of the Rocky Mountains lived a little boy with one singular dream: leave this broken and battered home and become someone.

Be somebody’s hero.

That boy was me—Colby Brooks. Except I’m not that same little boy anymore.
My dreams might still be the same, but my reality isn’t.

I’m smarter. Stronger. A man.

And I learned a long damn time ago, the only way to achieve my dreams was to avoid distractions—at any cost.

Focus. Resolve. Determination.

But all it took was one single night. One night and my entire life…changed.

One night had me colliding head first with the biggest distraction of my life; Rory Oaks.

Smart. Charming. Beautiful.

Rory changed everything.

Quickly, my one-track mind started to bend.

Each kiss faded decade-long dreams.

And with one single incident, I fly off course.

Last night I finished an advance copy of Sage’s Surrender by Joy Blood. Sage’s Surrender is the fourth book in the Hell Rider’s series. I enjoyed this novel, but I highly recommend you read the first three books in the series before reading Sage’s Surrender.

Sage
She is my best friend’s daughter. I have no right to be looking at her the way I do, but with her snotty attitude I find myself wanting to put her bratty ass into its place. Under me.
Brook
I have had a stupid school girl crush on him since I was fifteen years old. Now he is dragging me back to the one person I am not ready to face. My father.

All characters are of consensual age. HEA guaranteed! And as always with the Riders expect violence and big bad alphas swearing!

I also read an advanced copy of Ace of Hearts by Chantal Fernando! I cannot get enough of Ms. Fernando’s MC romances! After reading and loving the Wind Dragons MC series I had my doubts that this new MC series would live up to the WDMC….but I have to say, This series starter is amazing!!!! I’m completely obsessed with ACE! I gave Ace of Hearts 4/5 Stars

The New York Times bestselling author of the “swoonworthy and addicting” (Kim Karr, New York Times bestselling author) Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club series is back with more bad boy bikers in this first novel in the Cursed Ravens Motorcycle Club series.

Erin Dawson had the perfect life growing up in a perfect home with a perfect family. Her parents gave her and her sister everything a child could want. But after learning that the man she’s called “dad” her whole life isn’t actually her biological father, Erin is determined to find the man who is.

Armed with her original birth certificate, she finds her father, but begins questioning if her mom had been right all along to keep this information buried. It turns out he is the president of a motorcycle club, which could not be further from the life Erin leads. But, she’s determined to get to know the man who she gets her striking blue eyes from. Despite getting what she wants and finding her biological father, it’s the slightly older, much rougher but incredibly sexy biker Ace that catches Erin’s eye.

As the new “princess” of the Cursed Ravens, Erin is learning a whole new world, but her father has made it clear she is off limits. Will Ace follow his President’s orders or will he put his heart ahead of his duty? A sizzling tale of family and passion, Ace of Hearts features Fernando’s signature “snark and sass” (Booklist) and is perfect for fans of Kristin Ashley.

I’m not going to say a lot about this next book, only that, I was greatly let down by More Than Words by Mia Sheridan. More Than Words is the first novel I read by Mia Sheridan. I was expecting this raw emotional story, but (in my opinion) it didn’t live up to the hype. I do plan on reading Archer’s Voice sometime in the near future, so I haven’t completely given up hope on this author….yet.

Release Date: June 12th, 2018

No one lays open the heart and soul quite like New York Timesbestselling author Mia Sheridan.

The moment she met Callen Hayes, eleven-year-old Jessica Creswell knew he was a broken prince. Her prince. They became each other’s refuge, a safe and magical place far from their troubled lives. Until the day Callen kissed herJessica’s first real, dreamy kiss—and then disappeared from her life without a word.

Years later, everyone knows who Callen Hayes is. Famous composer. Infamous bad boy. What no one knows is that Callen’s music is now locked deep inside, trapped behind his own inner demons. It’s only when he withdraws to France to drink his way through the darkness that Callen stumbles into the one person who makes the music return. Jessica. His Jessie. And she still tastes of fresh, sweet innocence . . . even as she sets his blood on fire.

But they don’t belong in each other’s worlds anymore. There are too many mistakes. Too many secrets. Too many lies. All they have is that instinctive longing, that need—and something that looks dangerously like love.

So far this month, there has only been one book added to my 2018 favorites list and that is Pull You Through by Kaylee Ryan! I loved every. single. thing. about this book. I loved the raw emotion that comes along with the struggle of forming a new relationship with the pressures of long distance and Slade being in the military. I also loved the strong family values in this novel. EVERYTHING. Pull You Through was everything! Check out my review Here

Life is a series of events, one leading you to another. The hell I lived through with my drug-addicted parents led me to the Marine Corps. Committing my life to my country was easy. My brothers were my family–all I had and all I needed. I wasn’t looking for her, but I should have known life had other plans.

It led me to her.

From the moment we met, I knew he was different–I just didn’t realize he’d change my life. He was a guy on leave, an acquaintance. Until he was something more, something unforgettable. I never imagined he’d leave ten days later, taking a piece of me with him. Then again, maybe I did know. I just didn’t care.

He was worth it.

From New York Times Bestselling author Penelope Douglascomes a new forbidden love story…

JORDAN

He took me in when I had nowhere else to go.

He doesn’t use me, hurt me, or forget about me. He doesn’t treat me like I’m nothing, take me for granted, or make me feel unsafe.

He remembers me, laughs with me, and looks at me. He listens to me, protects me, and sees me. I can feel his eyes on me over the breakfast table, and my heart pumps so hard when I hear him pull in the driveway after work.

I have to stop this. It can’t happen.

My sister once told me there are no good men, and if you find one, he’s probably unavailable.

Only Pike Lawson isn’t the unavailable one.

I am.

PIKE

I took her in, because I thought I was helping.

She’d cook a few meals and clean up a little. It was an easy arrangement.

As the days go by, though, it’s becoming anything but easy. I have to stop my mind from drifting to her and stop holding my breath every time I bump into her in the house. I can’t touch her, and I shouldn’t want to.

The more I find my path crossing hers, though, the more she’s becoming a part of me.

But we’re not free to give into this. She’s nineteen, and I’m thirty-eight.

And her boyfriend’s father.

Unfortunately, they both just moved into my house.

*BIRTHDAY GIRL is a stand-alone, contemporary romance suitable for ages 18+.
