Synopsis:
The danger in pretending is it becoming real…
Sebastian Stone, Sunder front man and guitarist with a rap sheet about ten miles long, escaped to Savannah, Georgia, to get away from the trouble he’d caused.
Not find more of it.
The moment he saw Shea Bentley, he saw beneath all her sweet and innocence to something that went deeper.
Darker.
Their relationship was built on secrets; their love built on lies.
Sebastian never imagined how deep her secrets went.
When the past and present collide, Sebastian and Shea find themselves fighting for a future neither believed they deserved. Their passion is consuming and their need unending.
Now, holding the truth in his hands, Sebastian is faced with sacrificing everything he’s come to love to protect Shea and his family.
Two pasts intertwined.
Two lives bound.
Will their demons drown them or will Shea and Sebastian finally learn to breathe?
Drowning to Breathe is Book 2 in Sebastian and Shea’s two-part duet. Their story begins in A Stone in the Sea.
Drowning To Breathe is the continuation to Shea and Baz’s story. A little warning: If you have not read ‘A STONE IN THE SEA’ I highly suggest you do. Drowning to Breathe is the second part to that novel.
This couple has officially been through it all. They’ve fought their fights and made it through their struggles….barely.
In a Stone In The Sea we are aware that Shea is keeping a huge secret from Baz and vice versa. Drowning to Breathe starts off right Where A Stone in the sea ended with the enormous cliffhanger. Baz is now aware of what Shea’s secret is but what he’s not aware of is the fact that there is more to her secret.
This novel had me feeling every single emotion I could possibly feel! We were granted with more adorable as hell Baz and Kallie scenes. This novel focused more on Baz stepping into a father type role when it came to Kallie. His protectiveness towards her grew more and he adjusted to the emotions that came with.
I loved the Kallie and Baz moments! Shea and Baz were also adjusting to the new relationship and also dealing with the threat of someone trying to sabotage everything they were trying to build.
Overall, I really enjoyed Drowning to Breathe. The way this novel wrapped up was perfect and had me smiling like a fool! I can’t wait to continue on with this series!
