Synopsis (On Goodreads)

There is no name for it. The low hum vibrating in my bones, driving the ache in the pit of my stomach. The desperate thirst to prove myself. When the story of my career appears just within my grasp, I’m prepared to do whatever it takes to see it through.
But the truth comes at a price.
A terrifying ordeal brings Detective Sebastian Reed into my life. He crowds everything into corners just by stepping into a room. He’s steely, cold, and focused, and I’m inevitably drawn to the safety of his presence.
Except there is no safe and there is no us.
There’s only stolen moments and reckless touches, secrets and lies.
And the stranger who wants me dead.

My Thoughts:

Who’s after Amelia? Du Du DUUUUUUUU This was my thought process while reading Reckless Touch!

Amelia is a reporter with her hands deep in the biggest story of her career, that could bring down a lot of powerful people. Someone doesn’t like it and is out to get her. After being attacked in the parking lot of her work one night, Amelia is terrified that someone is trying to kill her.

Reed Is a detective on a mission to stop and find the culprit that is involved in a string of attacks in the area. His mission leads him to Amelia’s hospital room. One glance at Amelia and he is bound and determined to protect this woman.

Roots don’t have to be a place, you know,” he kisses my lips again, then my forehead.Roots can be a person.

The suspense in this novel is almost murderous. I literally was sitting on the edge of my seat and read this novel in one sitting. I COULD NOT for the life of me put it down.

I find it hard reading and getting into mystery novels (or as i call them, Who did it novels) i tend to find them predictable and i usually guess who the shadow man/woman is from the beginning. Reckless Touch however, had me completely stumped. When i found out who the ‘shadow’ was my jaw hit the floor. I was not expecting that what so ever.

If you like Mystery novels that will leave you on the edge of your seat give Reckless Touch a read. You won’t be disappointed

Peace Love and Happy Reading,
