Synopsis:

My Thoughts:
Secrets of an Alpha Male is the first book I have read by Author J.D. Hawkins. I have to say i was pleasantly surprised.
“Lions don’t roar when they’re about to kill.”
Frankie Jones is an independent woman with a Yoga Studio that she is proud to call hers. the only problem is her business is slowly going under.
Connor ‘Alpha-Male’ Anderson is an up and coming MMA Fighter, who is about to partake in the biggest match of his life.
Connor and Frankie’s story radiates Passion and Chemistry. Their story hooked me in from the beginning.
“She’s the kind of girl you can go crazy, go to jail, or go to grave over. But the bottom line is that she’s teaching me a lot.”
I found my favorite scenes are the ones where Connor and his coach (Butch) have heart to hearts. Butch is very insightful and even though Connor pisses him off to extremes you can see the pride build inside as the novel goes on and Connor sheds the Cocky exterior and finds that it is okay to be himself.
“A woman like that, Connor, can make the difference between achieving every dream you’ve ever had, and sitting in a bar as an old man talking about how you lost those dreams to anybody who’ll listen.”
I will definitely be on the lookout for more novels by JD Hawkins! Can’t wait to read more from this author. If you are into Alpha Males, get to 1-clicking you don’t want to miss out on this one!
