I loved Hell and Back. The story line centering around such a horrifying subject was written beautifully. The characters where flawless. I felt every emotion they were feeling. I cried when they cried. Hell and Back was a moving story, it made me thankful for the life I had as a child and the life I have now. I’m grateful to have grown up in a loving environment.

This story is heartbreaking, but it’s also hopeful. It’s hopeful in the fact that I wanted, no, need Bella and Lilah to have a happy ending. Then when Jackson showed up I felt even more hope that he would be the one to tear down the walls that both Bella and Lilah were forced to put up to protect herself.

You do not want to miss the emotionally ground breaking novel that is Hell and Back. This is the second novel Natasha Madison has self-published and she is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Hell and Back had me sitting on the edge of my seat, hoping and praying this woman and her daughter would find their happily ever after.
