Synopsis:
Booty Camp Dating Service is a wildly successful matchmaking company. The twist? Well, Wolf Saber –who inherited his gift– is NEVER wrong when he matches people. It’s a gift passed down from his grandmother to his mother to him.
He’s sexy but stays behind the scenes, letting his buddy Chance do all the talking while he matches the clients at parties and events. Booty Camp Dating Service travels the country, and nine months after they leave the city there’s always a flurry of weddings and an accompanying baby boom. Booty Camp claims that clients will be 110% satisfied and they deliver on that promise every single time.
Except Wolf refuses to deliver on that guarantee for himself. He doesn’t find love until Hazel Lavender’s best friend pushes her through his front door. Now all he wants to do is make sure Hazel is 110% satisfied…in his bed. Which, ironically, would break the very rules Wolf demands of his employees–no dating clients, ever.
So instead, Wolf and Hazel fight. And kiss. And fight some more.
Will Wolf’s own rules make him the very first Booty Camp Happily Never After?
Line up readers, your Booty Camp date is waiting…
What do you get when you mix a professional matchmaker and a female that was just humiliated by her ex-boyfriend? Why you get Booty Camp!
Okay for starters if the title is pure perfection. I mean come on who wouldn’t read a novel titled BOOTY CAMP dating service. Not to mention the cover and the delicious eye candy.
Booty camp is the first novel I have read by author Debra Anastasia and to tell you the truth I was quite pleased. I can’t tell you how many times I laughed my ass off while reading.
Hazel is newly single and depressed with the way her life is going. Her recent boyfriend left her high and dry for a floozy she likes to refer to as hyena. Oh did I mention her ex lives right above her so she is constantly hearing their shenanigans. Claire (Hazel’s Best friend) wins a free entry into the booty camp (which is a successful matchmaking dating service) after begging and pleading Hazel agrees to join her on this one thousand-dollar adventure. Hazel’s was a spitfire that spoke her mind no matter how crazy her thoughts were. After Claire finds her match right off the bat Hazel doesn’t feel the need to partake in Booty Camp anymore. When she demands her money back from Wolf sparks fly.
“As much as Hazel loved her best friend, it was really hard to see her looking all swoony and in love when she was literally getting tea-bagged with fate’s nuts at every turn.”
Wolf, professional matchmaker extraordinaire owns the successful Booty Camp business. His matchmaking gift has been passed down from several generations in his family. The only problem is Wolf can find other people’s matches just not his own. He believes he has bad Karma due to the fact that he is profiting from this passed down lineage trait.
I really enjoyed the best friends of Wolf and Hazel (Claire and Chance). I loved Claire, she has the dirtiest sense of humor. LOVED IT. The back and forth bickering and fighting is hilarious. I mean how many times can a girl give the guy the finger before he gets the picture. Or steals a picture from the wall while drunk. Wolf and Hazel’s feelings eventually evolve into a weird relationship but it suits them. I loved how the two were drawn to each other at the beginning and how everyone could see the chemistry and spark between the two; everyone except Wolf and Hazel.
The sexy time scenes in this novel are off the wall crazy hot. The desk scene was like no scene I have ever read in a romance novel. Crazy good.
Her tongue peeked out a little as she looked at the fly of his jeans and spoke directly to it like it was a microphone.
“I want to make a mistake with you. Right now.”
But the jackass that Wolf turned into afterwards made me want to scream. When you break a girl’s heart unintentionally your supposed to run after her and make things right. Stupid boys and not being able to confess their true feelings out of fear. Ugh who gets men, anyways.
I rated Booty Camp 4 stars instead of 5 due to the fact that even though I love when characters run from their emotions and I love the back and forth I felt that this novel had a little too much running from feelings in it. Other than that I loved Booty Camp.
If you’re looking for a hilarious Romantic comedy with a little angst i recommend Booty Camp by Debra Anastasia to you!
