I’m sure you guys have had rant moments while reading books you liked! Let me start off by saying i love The Biker series, I love Cassie Alexandra’s writing, and i did really enjoy Breaking the Biker. BUT….there were some things i didn’t quite understand in Breaking the Biker. Okay the rant below is going to contain spoilers so….you have been warned.

A little background information so your not confused. The last book the club president of the gold viper’s Slammer was shot and killed. “Honestly i read the books a long time ago and that is all i remember” Okay now fast forward because this book is the consequences of what took place in the last book.

Tank “Slammer’s son” gets voted in as Club President after his father’s murder. Tank is bound and determined to make whoever murdered his father pay (Understandable in the MC world). He finds out a woman by the name of Raina Murdered his father.Now the club automatically thinks that is was a setup by there rival club.

Tank tracks Raina down at the bar she works out and there is an “Instant connection” between the two. (Okay don’t get me wrong and no offense to the author because i really did like Breaking the Biker but…….If i come face to face with the person that murdered my father I don’t think i’d be worrying about an “Instant Connection” or “Sex” or anything besides the fact that this person standing in front of me just MURDERED my father.”

Okay…

Later that night Raina goes to Tanks apartment with a gun to wait him out or threaten him. But Tank doesn’t show because he is at Raina’s apartment snooping around trying to find information on her brother Cole who is a prospect for the Rival MC club because he is bound and determined to find the person who made Raina shoot his dad.

So then Tank comes home and finds Raina in his house after a drive by shooting. Raina comes clean about murdering his father. She did it because she was told the gold vipers were the ones that shot up the MC Club and that was the result of her little boys “Death”.

TANK UNDERSTANDS!!!!

Rant Over!!!

After i got over the shocker of Tank and his Sudden infatuation and love for Raina Everything was fine and i went back to enjoying the book! Now thinking back i really do understand her motives for doing what she did and i understand “In a Small way” Tanks reasons’ for forgiving her so easy.

Overall, I can now say I liked this book, but sadly, it wasn’t a love for me…
