All Tyler Mercer wanted was to make music—until he met Avery Jenson. The beautiful new girl in town turned his head and struck a chord in his heart. But when their one night of passion results in devastating tragedy, Tyler hits the road, leaving behind his dead-end hometown and the girl he knows he’ll never forget.

After her father was caught embezzling, Avery’s comfortable life in the city was blown to bits. But meeting Tyler helped to pick up the pieces and eased her into country living. She just never expected the handsome musician would add to her heartbreak by walking away without a backward glance.

Now, three years later, rock star Tyler’s come back, hat in hand. He’s found fame and fortune as a member of Wicked White, but it’s all worth nothing without Avery’s love. Can she forgive him for leaving when she needed him most? Or will the ghost of their past keep them apart?

My Review:

I LOVED THIS BOOK!

That was to be expected due to the fact that i loved the first two just as much. however, i think Wicked Love topped the other two. There is just something i love about a country boy 🙂 This book gave me all the feels. It had me smiling like a lunatic and crying like a baby..

Wicked love is Tyler and Avery’s story. Tyler is the drummer for the band Wicked White.

I loved loved loved Tyler’s character. It was a nice change to the cocky asshole type characters that are normally in new adult novels.

Swoon….gotta love those country boys! (you have to read the book to get the meaning behind that statment. yes i know he is a drummer in a rock band but….just read the book…no spoilers here lol.)

You want to go out with me?” I question while wearing a teasing smile.

“Well, usually I think it’s only fitting we go out on a real date seeing as we’ve already been out to Walmart and all. I don’t take girls there until at least the second or third date . . . but you’re special, and since our little trip together today was sort of our date number three, we can just pretend tonight will be date number four.” He grins.

Tyler and Avery were a fun and cutesy couple to read about…..

Say yes, Avery. Say that you’re in this with me.”

She closes her eyes.  “Of course I am.”

I crush my lips to hers. Avery—she’s my destiny. There are too many times fate has brought us together, and I can no longer deny that she is my dream and this is exactly where I’m supposed to be.

Until tragedy struck and Tyler walked out of Avery’s life in a time where she needed him the most. He went on to follow his dreams and became a musician.

Tyler returns home three years later after the lead singer of Wicked White vanishes (you can read Ace White’s story in the first book). Tyler learns a big secret that Avery has kept from him. What i admired about Tyler is when he found out thus secret he didn’t get mad and take his anger out on Avery. (In so many books you read the cliche moments where girl keeps something from boy and boy finds out and gets pissed and ends up spewing hurtful words.)

I laughed so hard when i read this part of Wicked Love.

It reminds me of the setting for a random, cheesy horror flick. It makes me think that if we do break down, some deformed hillbilly will probably drag us into a dilapidated shack and eat us alive—just like what happened to those kids in Wrong Turn .

I laughed because i had a moment in my life just like this when i moved from home lol.

If you haven’t read the Wicked White series well then what are you waiting for put it on your TBR list. It’s amazing.

Peace Love and Happy Reading,
