2024 | July Wrap Up

Hello, Everyone! I'm a day late on posting my July Wrap Up, but it's better to be late than to never post it. In July, I read nine books! I found some new to me authors I plan to read more from real soon and I found some novels that were just okay. I also checked off a book from my paperback shelf tbr and a few from my kindle unlimited tbr. It's been a great month of reading. Let's Get Started.

Top ten Tuesday

Ten Recent Romance Novels That Could Have Been 5 Stars… but I wanted More From.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today’s category: Books I Wish Had More/Less [Insert Your Concept Here] In Them (for example: more/less romance, more/less world building, less info dumping, more/fewer pages, more character development, fewer characters, fewer descriptions, more suspense, etc.) I decided to share my most recent romance novels that could have been 5 star ratings, but were 4½ stars because I wanted more __ from. Honestly, the blank space could be suspense, magic, sexy times, or character details. It's been a long year, and I am finding myself to be rather picky this year. So let's get started with this list!

Book Review | Foretold – Chantal Fernando (Fated Love Series, Book Two)

Foretold, the second book in Chantal Fernando's Fated Love series, picks up with Astrid and Rave as their relationship faces a significant challenge. With emotional depth and captivating storytelling, the novel delves into betrayal, resilience, and the power dynamics between the characters. Fernando's seamless blend of romance and fantasy kept me engaged throughout.
