Wild Love is the ninth book in Sadie King’s Wild Heart Mountain: Wild Rider’s MC Series. I didn’t see this one coming! In all honesty, I wasn’t sure I would ever find a novel I absolutely loved with my whole heart in this series due to the length of each book, not the content. But holy hay day! Sadie King had me falling for Mel and Davis’ story! My heart literally couldn’t put this one down until I finished it! And it was the perfect length! Coming in at 116 pages, this was a quick read but with a little more heart and a little more heat than the books that came in this series before. It’s official, I’m a fan!
Mel and Davis’ quickie features an insta love connection with a steamy reverse age-gap storyline. An accident tragically ended Davis’ career in the military. When home life wasn’t helping his mental health, he turned to someone he could count on and joined the Wild Rider’s MC. From that moment on, Davis has lived his life bartending and helping his friends and their families when needed. But something was always missing inside of him, and What was missing just walked into his life.
Mel’s world has imploded and the only thing she can think to do is to hide out at her younger sisters house. Newly single she’s finding her freedom that unbeknownst to her, had been missing. Now, the only thing she needs in her life is the promotion she’s been fighting for, and the sexy as sin man who happens to be letting her work from his home would be an added bonus.
My thoughts:
Oh My Goodness! Mel and Davis’ story stole my heart! I loved every moment from beginning to end. I don’t think there was a moment of doubt with these two! I was invested and all in! One thing I loved about this novel was witnessing Davis accept his ‘disability’. My heart broke for this man, but I knew he was going to find his epic happily ever after. I also loved the reverse age gap moment and I especially loved the fact that Mel was mature. She noticed long ago and never said anything until Davis brought it up. EEK, I knew from that moment this was a match made in the romance world!
Overall, My heart feels so full, so light, and so incredibly happy right now! I need more novels with this much heart and sensuality in them. I need more novels where friendship is the key point that forms a strongly developed relationship. I can’t wait to see what Sadie King brings to the table next! I have a strong feeling I’m going to love Wild Child just as much, if not more, than I loved Wild Love! Bring on all the wild vibes!
