Hello, Everyone!
It’s six days into July and I’m just now posting my reading wrap up for June… that pretty much sums up the last month. Early in June, I went to the emergency room with a cough, chest pain, and an extremely high fever. After visiting the urgent care the day before and being treated.. or not treated.. with “something viral”, I felt like something wasn’t right and took my butt to the ER. Come to find out, I had a mild case of walking pneumonia. Believe me when I say, if that was a mild case I don’t want to know what an extreme case feels like. Fast forward a month later, I’m starting to feel better. My cough is singular now and almost gone all together. Mr. Man planted my garden while I was down for the count. So I’ve been tending to my garden and spending as much time outdoors as I can. It feels good to feel the sun on my skin once more. I couldn’t go outside, due to the high humidity. It was rough go for a bit. I wouldn’t wish that on my own worst enemy, that’s for sure.
With that being said, my reading wrap up for June of 2025 has only one book on it….. and that was Take My Name by Brooke Montgomery! I really enjoyed this one and was a great read to get me through the slump I had fallen into. you can read my review for Take My Name here!
Hopefully July’s reading wrap up will go differently than June…. We shall see!
